Road wins in the SEC don't just grow on trees. I'm stoked about this one. And Buie just blasts into the end zone to put WVU up by 10.....that vaunted Longhorn defense is getting beat up by these Big 12 running backs. With LSU, Georgia, and Texas all going down, there are going to be some major shake-ups at the top of the BCS.
Yep. At one point I thought UT's defense had WVU's offense gauged, but not so. Geno Smith is awesome, but there is no excuse for them getting gashed by Buie for over 200 yards on the ground. UT's defense is pathetic in every phase.
that'll be the excuse all year then, because no one in the BIG 12 is stopping this offense.. they are BCS Bowl bound
What's really sad is that Texas has all the personnel to be the best defense in the conference, it's just not being utilized correctly. Texas isn't going to a BCS bowl, that's for sure. Kansas St. will tear this team apart with the defense being played. K-State and WVU are the two best teams, easily. OU and Texas have some major flaws.
You think there is a utilization problem with the defense, eh? What about the other side? Just posted this in the UT thread: UT's play selection and results tonight against a pass defense only a mother could love: 29 passes 269 yards. 9.4 yards per play 39 rushes, 135 yards. 3.5 yards per play.
TD N.C. STATE!! 17-16 Wolfpack. 16 seconds left in the 4th. What a drive! 2 or 3 or 4 4th down conversions. Wow!
NC State owns FSU. This is the 4th time in a row NC State has beaten FSU when FSU was ranked. This one might have been the most unlikely one though. FSU played like hot garbage in the second half. The Texans getting some love from Matt Millen over on ESPN during the Oregon game!
Utterly hilarious how quickly A&M's severed ties w/ its history as a run-of-the-mill Big 12 team, and wants absolutely nothing to do with its former conference. The "SEC, SEC, SEC!" chants at Gameday were telling of this program's perpetual desire to be associated with success and out from beneath the shadow of UT. The SEC's the best conference in America, hands down, but it's almost like A&M begged to ride b**** in the fine-tuned Ferrari of Alabama/LSU/Florida, and is now proudly strutting around like it helped buy the thing. Road wins at Alabama, LSU, Florida, SCar, and UGA don't just grow on trees. Ole Miss is a different story.
I agree to some extent, the SEC bull**** gets on my nerves, I liked it better when college station wasn't so loud and annoying. That being said, you are an *******. Awesome monikor though..
Yeah, I tweeted that early on in the game. I didn't get why they didn't pass it more against this secondary. It's probably more of a stubborn thing on Mack Browns part to enforce the run. Malcolm Brown is arguably the best back right now on Texas, and he was out. Regardless though, putting up 45 pts... if that doesn't win you a game, then you have no business winning anyway. With this kind of defense, you aren't going to go very far.
