Yes, it kicked Bama's ass for a quarter. That spread offense generated more total yards than Bama's offense right?? nope
atm lead WIRE TO WIRE if the aggie FG kicker made his kicks, the game wouldnt have been close P.S. i think ND's Defense is better than Bama
and if McCarron didn't throw an INT on the goal line Bama would of won. The game is over and Bama came out flat and lost. All that matters is that Bama controls their own destiny and has one last obstacle which is the SEC Championship game. Bama will dominate Notre Dame and are already 10 point favorites. In fact, they just said on ESPN that every SEC team in the top 10 would be favored over Notre Dame. There defense could be better but our Offensive line will run right over their defensive line any day. I do like Manti Te'o and I think he's a great player and person.

So if Notre Dame loses to USC, we get another all-SEC championship game of Florida vs. the winner of Alabama vs. Georgia? I'm assuming Stanford beats UCLA which keeps Oregon out of the Pac-12 title game.
holy crap, what delusional world are you living in? KState fell to 6. Baylor isn't found in any poll. Ziggy, you're good peeps but that's the Aggiest post I've seen from you in a while. The notion that somehow the SEC isn't respected by the national media or is hurt by the BCS is just a joke.
I was ranting and exaggerating, but I'm seriously annoyed with ESPN going out of their way to rep the Big 12 this year. I was also ticked off when WVU barely skipped by Baylor yet didn't drop in the polls. KSU lost to an unranked team, just like OkSt did last year, you've got to drop in a big way when you blow those kinds of games. And Baylor didn't just beat KSU, they hammered them man. Florida State lost one game by one point and they're 10th? Almost every time a Big 12 team came out this year and started garnering attention - OU, WVU, TCU, Tech, etc... they lost when they weren't supposed to. What does that say about the conference then? This year it's a bunch of very dangerous teams, I'll admit to that, teams than can beat anyone on any given night, but they're not consistent and they're not well rounded and they've all embarrassed themselves at some point. KSU at 6 is fine by me but that's where my head was at when I was whining.
I'd be very surprised if Florida wins at FSU. They should have lost to Mizzou and Louisiana-Lafayette at home this month, and that followed a dreadful offensive performance against Georgia. Really, starting with the South Carolina game, their offense has majorly regressed... and this includes games with a healthy Driskel. The Noles aren't perfect, but they're going to put up points at Doak, and I'd be surprised if UF can keep up.
IF it were the SEC, you'd tell me it means that you can't take a week off because they're all so awesome.
I don't care about the SEC as much as y'all like to think, but I've appreciated their brand of football long before TAMU got there or wanted to go there, hell I wanted the Pac 12 in 2010. This isn't about the SEC, it's about the Big 12 teams being fluffed up this year.
Leftover options if Notre Dame loses seem to be Oregon, KSU, and FSU, UF. UF likely loses to FSU, but if they don't, they are set given their strong computer ranking. FSU has a chance to move up with a win over Florida, but I think they need help due to their ACC schedule. Oregon is probably in the best position, but Stanford losing to UCLA next week would be really helpful since they would get a conference championship game. KSU might have a chance if they destroy Texas and Oregon doesn't get a CCG. FSU's CCG will be against a mediocre team, so that's not too helpful.
Exactly. The SEC has to be the most annoying fanbase in sports. I made a comment about the cupcake schedule from last weekend on Facebook and you'd think I had rented out their mothers to thadeus the way they reacted. I had to delete it after 30 minutes it was ridiculous.
