    For whatever reason, this game doesn't have the hype that previous National Championships have had. With Tebow doing what he did yesterday, most of the focus of the sports world will be on the NFL playoffs instead of going over this game.

    I thought last years game nobody really cared b/c everyone thought Auburn would just give it back a few years later b/c of Newton. This years game has even less hype....

    Last years was disappointing, but only because it was sloppy - I thought beforehand (if you ignore the Newton payroll/Oregon street agent issue) it was an interesting matchup on the field, with the most dynamic player vs. the Oregon offense.

    This years is a disaster. Incestuous SEC duel that sucked the first time, with one team clearly having the superior season and the other just lucking their way in due to unearned reputation - boring. On the bright side, its not going to be hard to exceed expectations.

    The amount of time between the end of the season and the NCG has pretty much killed whatever enthusiasm I had left, which wasn't much to begin with considering this is a rematch.
