It happens. We are missing Iniesta and Puyol. Tello is finally showing promise and the back line still needs chemistry. . Did you know that Real Madrid hasn't won a road game this season in la Liga?
Average performance by us but glad we got the 3 points. Scrappy game and Galatassary probably deserved a draw.
And United with another below average performance on the European stages... At least Kagawa looked good carving that defense open on several occasions.

Bate wins 3:1, wow. Already won 3:1 vs. Lille and have a real chance at advancing and surprising everyone. Really hard to play against, brilliant defense and counter attacking. Well deserved.
what's up with Manchester Utd? I wish I had put some money on Bate +1.5 goals. They're topping a group with Bayern, Valencia and Lille
No. BATE won because Bayern had their worst game this season. I don't know what was wrong with our defenders, especially Badstuber was terrible tonight. The offense wasn't much better. And let's not even talk about corners... I honestly can't remember the last time a corner led to a goal. Man, I'm so disappointed right now. If you want to win the champions league, you need to win against a team like BATE. No excuses. There needs to be reaction on Saturday.
Bate played smart football, can't lay all the blame on Bayern. They played two excellent games and showed great defense and efficient, intelligent counter attacking. Not the most beautiful football but brutally effective, see last year's Chelsea or Nikosia(remember how Real struggled).
Yeah, I know. My first post was a little too emotional. You have to give credit where credit is due, and Bate did have some nice and effective counter attacks. Still, I don't understand why Bayern played so poorly tonight. Maybe they underestimated Bate which is never a good thing in the Champions League. Who knows. Anyways, the pressure increases for the next CL games, but nonetheless I'm confident we'll make it far with that group of players.
Is anybody important for Porto injured? I'm seeing a lot of betting action going PSG's way. And this is a road game for them. Strange.....
Porto sold key players and PSG is one of the biggest spenders and destroyed Malaga and league opponents, they are clear favourites.
