It's both of them's fault, but if I were to blame someone, I would blame Hazard. Should've let the ball boy do his job which would've taken what, 15-30 seconds? Instead the whole incident took 3-5 mins. Played it right into the ball boy's intention of wasting as much time as possible. These players are getting paid millions, they can't be kicking ball boys, whether or not, it's justified. Totally unprofessional. Also, Chelsea had no chance of beating Swansea in Wales. There I said it.
I was flipping channels and watching the Arsenal-West Ham U game while Denver was putting on a beating on the Rockets in the second half. Arsenal was putting on a beating themselves. Game was tied 1-1 at the half and then team Arsenal had an orgasm to open the second half. Four goals in a span of 8 minutes.
No mention of Bradford City?! In the 4th division and have now knocked out 3 EPL teams en route to the League Cup.
"I think I kicked the ball. Not the boy. I am sorry". - Hazard Sounds like he is apologizing for missing and not getting the boy.
He kicked the ball, but if he did kick the boy, the only thing he should apologize for is for not kicking the punkass boy harder.
I would agree with the general consensus. Both were wrong. But no reason to kick the kid. While I understand the mentality of the kick. Heat of the moment. All he had to do was think before acting. Tell the ref.
He kicked the ball and the kid tried to flop and make it seem like he got hit. Stern should fine him for that obvious acting.
Anyone saw the Arsenal v Brighton game? Good game by Brighton. Wenger had to bring out his "big guns" to win the game (3-2). Let's hope the horrible defending continues when they face Liverpool midweek. Yuss! We will win the Finals!
Well that was a pretty disgraceful outing by Liverpool. Might as well play with 10 men because Borini's finishing is less than nonexistent. The diving douche Hazard "kicked" in that 5 seconds was infinitely more useful than all of Borini's time in a red kit. It's also funny that BR fielded a full strength (minus Borini) attacking third, while putting a bunch of Kyrie Irvings on defense. A more than embarrassing showing from the last 2 games of their FA cup games, but maybe this will wake Henry up that Pool needs to spend real money to buy stars. None of this fake value-for-$$ moneyball buys without the stats. Congrats to Oldham.
Hardly. Many have been ass kickings. Plus, when they play what seems like every few weeks, what's classic about it?
This rivalry extends far beyond the pitch, at least is used to in the 60s. It's culture, politics, languages, so much that clashes during this game. Granted, not all of them are clasicos but the vast majority of them do live up to the expectationd, specially if your fan of either team. Btw, they only play against each other for sure twice a year but since both are doing great lots of times they play each other in the final rounds of whatever tournament they are playing. For instance, the game on Wednesday is the away match for the Semis of the Copa del Rey. There are for sure 3 more matches for this season.
