We need a Ron Washington drinking game:

    Take a drink every time:
Ron Washington does his windmill arms
Ron Washington does his run in place dance
Ron Washington claps his hands (1 drink for each clap)
    Ron Washington raises his arms

    Take 2 drinks when:
The camera shows Washington and he is just staring and doing nothing
Ron Washington looks like he has no clue what is going on (you know what I am talking about. The look when they show him during a home run where he is watching and looks like "oh we got a hit, cool, wait really It was a home run, let me dance)

    Drink a whole bottle when:
Ron Washington makes a suspect pitching change/pinch hitting change

2 innings of claps may be enough to put you over the legal limit.

Hard enough that I couldn't use an exclamation point.

I won't fault anyone for cheering either team. The Rangers aren't a team of jerks, and don't deserve hate based on their personnel. Nolan Ryan is worth cheering for. Their franchise has never won a World Series.

On the negatives they are from the Dallas area.

The Cardinals are from the national league. They do have Lance Berkman. They were underdogs to make the playoffs at all. It was a miracle for them to even make it, and they never gave up. They could have mailed it in at the end of the season, but they stayed with it, and now they are playing for the World Series. Add to that the excitement of last nights game and they are definitely worth cheering for.

On the negatives they are rivals of the Astros.

When all is said and done, I'm pulling for the Cards, but I won't be upset at all if the Rangers win. I have really enjoyed the series, and exciting games.

This series certainly is like last years NBA finals. I hate both teams. At least the Cardinals have somewhat of a fan base, albeit an overrated one.

What's overrated about the Cardinals fan base? Are they too loyal? They'd give up all the Super Bowls by the Rams, and NFL football all-together, to support the Cardinals.

It may be the only city in America where MLB has an edge over the NFL.

Not an Astro or Ranger or Cardinal fan.

If you are an Astros fan, why would you root for either team?

Obviously you got the Dallas based Rangers.

Then you got the team that is supposed to be your RIVAL in your division....

If I was an Astro fan, I wouldn't be rooting for either team.

I am rooting for the Cardinals because I don't want the Rangers to win a World Series before Houston does.

I'm a baseball fan more than an Astros fan. The Astros are my favorite team, but I just like the game of baseball, which is what the national league is. The American league is a bastardization of baseball so I will route against the american league for this series. I won't route for the Cardinals again unless a duplicate situation happens next world series.

That's pretty big. I wonder how limited Napoli is going to be

actually they removed Holliday from the postseason roster and they not even gonna use him as a pinch hitter

I think Napoli just had a sprained ankle he'll be fine

Exactly how I feel, I was at poker last night with a bunch of Ranger fans, and when Berkman came up, they asked me if he clutch, and I said after a decade or so in Houston, he was by far our most clutch hitter, and that I thought he was get a hit there.....

I felt bad for them, but Berkman delivered, again.

As for game 7....GO RANGERS !

i honestly believe that helps the Cards. Holliday was clearly affected by injury and hasn't been effective.

but how much will it effect him. It looked like a pretty bad and I'd imagine his ankle is going to be tight. It could really hamper him squatting and running after a night of swelling.
