Really? It was just bunch of people doing robo dance at the same time. I heard the North Koreans are pretty good at that too.
yes grandpa it was a great show. welcome to the 21st century superbowl, oh it's spelled SuperBowL, thanks to that sucker guy . next time the cavemen band will peform for oldies fans.
Could we get RHCP or Foo Fighters for the next halftime show? IMO both are mainstream enough and would be leaps and bounds better then whatever that mess was last night. "oH oh Oh ohHh SwEeT CHiLd oF MinE!" in that manly smoke 3 packs a day voice was whacked LOL bad.
GEORGE: Hey. How come I didn't get a Christmas card? Everybody else got one. Jerry got one, Kramer got one. I thought we were good friends. I don't get a Christmas card. I don't get it. ELAINE: You want a Christmas card? You want a Christmas card? All right here. [rubs George's head on her breasts] Here's your Christmas card.
I actually thought the BEP's were a good choice for the SuperBowl...but holy cow were they BAD. They are truly a studio group - Fergie couldn't sing at all..she totally crapped on Sweet Child of Mine. They sounded awful - just awful. Plus - the Sound mixing was horrid as well..if a group sings that bad in person..you should bring up the music so that its not so obvious - apparently thats Audio mixing 101 because our audio department here at work has been complaining about the Halftime Audio all morning. 5 vocals, 1 guitar and tracks shouldn't sound that bad.
I second this. Chili Peppers would have rocked that place out. A White Stripes farewell would have been epic!
I've always thought the Black Eyed Peas really, deeply suck at the basic art of making music. Last night I was still willing to have an open mind and see what they would come up with, but all I got was ear-numbing confirmation. Is it that there is such a dearth of real talent in the modern music industry? Can someone please explain why it is so difficult for the super bowl committees to find a decent modern act to put in front of 90 million viewers? I'm sure next year they'll cop out again and put up Celine Dion or something like that.
