Trent Cole is one of the most underrated and under-appreciated defensive linemen in the NFL. Babin was signed to take away the double teams that he commands. Also, Patterson and Bunkley are a formidable DT unit and Dixon has been called a Haynesworth 2.0 without the issues. The real problem on defense now is LB and S.
I've seen reports that the Nnamdi signing could signal the end of Samuel's time in Philadelphia. EDIT: I see DM stated the same. It makes sense though, you cannot have 2 $60 million CBs in the backfield, just doesn't make sense.
Wow. The Eagles have a team that has dynasty potential. Nhamdi, Asante, and DRC are all capable #1 corners. Trent Cole, Broderick Bunkley, and Babin on the D-line with that explosive offense of Vick, Jackson, McCoy, and Maclin...that is scary. Have fun Cowboys, Giants, and Redskins!
I have read that the Eagles may consider trading Samuels instead of just outright releasing him. Come on Patrick Willis!!!! That's a joke folks
Asking you cause I know your a Raider fan...if there wasnt a glitch in Nnamdi's contract the Raider's would have paid him top dollar this year....did Al Davis just not want him back or did Nnamdi wanna bolt?
Ouch Cowboy fans! Not only are you not getting Awesome-O, you are going to have to play him twice a year.
Just noticed that signing as well. The Eagles were actually in the market for a KR too so maybe there's that but they also brought in a couple undrafted players to compete so maybe they all are competing for that spot now. They also signed TE Donald Lee.
I'm watching the NFL Network and they are showing live coverage of the Eagles Press Conference. Andy Reid just walked up to the podium with a massive erection
That team is stacked. I hope Vick stays healthy all year, because it will be damn annoying when the VY fans come out of the woodwork because even he (with Reid coaching) can still be contenders.
Eagles are damn stacked. What a coup for them. Crazy, glad for us. Nnamdi is not in the AFC and we got Joseph/Manning.
