I thought The King's Speech was incredible and well deserved. I thought Geoffrey Rush did a phenomenal job in it
lol, that guy thanked his boyfriend on stage. Well deserved, the movie left a lasting impression without resorting to any gimmicks.
I know, right? Shocking! Next thing you know, some guy will be thanking his goat for all the support and all the milk. It's a slippery slope.
The Kings Speech cost $15 million to make and Harvey Weinstein spent about $20 million throwing industry parties to secure those awards.
King's Speech is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Glad the right movie won today and proper talent is recognized.
I'm sure the King's speech is a deep impactful movie, but I can't see sitting thru a movie for so long to get to the culmination of the obviously inspiring speech...much less "127 hours"...
Franco and Hathaway were dull. Several failed attempts at humor. They should have invited Ricky Gervais. Everyone in the audience would be ****ting in their pants and gown and it would be entertaining.
No way, True Grit didnt even deserve a nomination and while the social network was good, it was not one of the 5 best
