Has the game schedule come out yet? If I remember correctly, sometime one team's games can be mostly bunched up. Might want to figure out when the Rockets team is playing before finalizing plans.
I'll be there during the WSOP but probably only for the first couple of days of Summer League. Maybe I'll stick around longer if things go unexpectedly well.
Nope not yet. I don't know when they will come out. The last two seasons teams played five days in a row or there abouts... so if they started on day one, they were finished by day 7. I have to plan in advance because I'm bringing the fam (cheaper that way for me cause Dad is like my own personal bank) and my sis in law has to request off work... the rest of us don't. I'm hoping the Rockets play toward the end of summer league instead of the beginning. Either way I should be able to see at least one Rockets game.
i am planning on it this year, for sure, I was going to go last year, but ended up having to use vacation time for a cruise last September (and dont regret it ) I've scheduled vacation on the 9-12th and 16-19th, so I'm going hopefully my Jordan Hill jersey will still be good to wear, and no I'm not talking about a Raptors jersey.....
I wouldn't expect it till a few days after the draft, im really hoping its the 2nd weekend (16-19th) since my sister is due on the 5th, my nephew better be out by then, heh btw, HF, get your jerseys yet?
Yep I sure did! I should have told ya that I got them Saturday Wore one to work today heehee! I hope so too re: the second weekend.. wonder if we can get Daryl to fix it for us. If they play that first weekend (which they have the last three seasons - sadly) I may only get to see one of our games. I plan to still go and see some of the other teams - depending on where my UK boys get drafted - but I really wanna see the Rockets
Just giving this a bump for those attending I will be arriving in Las Vegas on Tuesday July 13 (I think like 9pm - haven't confirmed the flights yet) and we are leaving on the red eye either Saturday or Sunday night. So I may or may not get to see the Rockets play at all. I talked to some one at the summer league marketing department and they are still finishing up the schedule.. hopefully it will be out soon. I'll post it here when I get it!
damn, hopefully we do play the second weekend to let u see our boys play. I haven't got my ticket, holding out as long as i can before getting a ticket, I may end up just buying a tix for the second weekend, if it ends up being the second weekend, I should be able to switch it out to the first weekend since it'll be at least 14 days before I'm out. btw, my sister is due any minute, her doctor said she wouldn't make her due date early July, so I don't have that to worry about anymore thanks for letting us know the schedule when you can!
tickets are already available on the unlv website looks like they've bumped the general admission price to 22 bucks and seriously bumped the courtside ticket price. i wonder if there will be restrictions on where you can sit now and still be considered general admission you can buy tickets i've stated many times that the dates are fixed but the schedule is not
I figure I would just buy my entrance when I got there... wonder if I can get press passes if I convince them I work for a website Then I can go every day even if the Rockets aren't playing. Maybe I should check that out... it would be like 88 bucks more I can spend in the casinos at night.
The summer league games are important. Remember Donte Greene and he got like 40 pts in one SL game. Eventually DM traded him to the Kings for someone name Ron Artest.
i wouldnt mind checking a game or two of monroe's out this year. i might just coincide my trip to las vegas so i can catch a few of the rockets games.
