Yes it is. I haven't tried 602 (which would be the hi def version) but 101 is the regular NBA tv channel and should be part of the basic package.

http://www.nba.com/rookieladder/?ls=iref:nbahpt1 Patterson is #12 on the list of best rookies so far, in the SL. Keep in mind, it is a compilation of all the rookies, from Vegas and Orlando. Great to see some low picks (Ebanks, Caracter) be ranked so high.
Seems to me like Hill's BB instincts are a half-second slower than those of almost everyone else on the court. That lack of instinct hurts his defense especially, but also hampers him in certain offensive situations, such as when a play breaks down and people start improvising. He's got the athleticism to make up for it usually, but not always. I've been impressed with his quick hands. Bottom line, though, is he's not a refined enough player to coast on his physical gifts, and should be putting 100% effort into everything he does out there -- but it appears he's not doing that (at least not during these first two games).
Anyone watching the game know why Brent Barry couldn't say something about Mary Leunen, so he told his broadcasting partner to say something if he did something good. His fellow broadcaster went on the ask "Hasn't enough time passed?" and Barry responded by saying "I dont think enough time can." Anyone know the meaning of this, is there some sort of agreement for former players that become broadcasters for teams they were recently on?
Leunen dated Barry's wife's sister. It was a spring/fall hot cougar kind of relationship until she got knocked up and then all the fun was over and he dumped her. That's why he left the country to play in Italy. Brent can't forgive him.
Watching the summer league games...i am impressed with Patrick Patterson game. I think he's going to fit in better than Jordan Hill. He's very fundamentally sound. Has great upper body strength..reminds me of Artest. And he has huge wingspan....i think he's going to be good!! However, I am not impressed with Jordan Hill's game. He seems to lack awareness...almost like he's slow in reacting....just slow in everything. His hook shot is not good..almost like he's rushing..has no soft touch or concentration. At this point, i don't know what to say about him. As for Taylor, I think he forces too much shots and too much ballhogging. Almost like when he makes up his mind to drive or score....that's it...he's going to do it even if there is no where to go inside...even if it means there are 3 defenders inside the paint..he still forcing up shot. To me, that's just lack of intelligence. So overall, i am ONLY impressed with Patterson. I think he has tremendous awareness on court and intelligent. It almost like he guarded everyone on the court when he's playing. His team defense is unbelievable. So, base on that...i think he's going to get playing time next year. Although i am sure about this offense. But if Chuck Hayes get playing time for defense....there is no doubt Patrick will too.
I'm just now watching his first game... he's playing decently so far... not liking him getting backed down by Monroe a couple of times
It's too early to judge whether Jordan Hill will be a serviceable center. He really only began training as one a few months ago, and it will probably take at least a season or two before he really figures things out. That said, I think Hill is just more suited to play the 4 than the 5. It won't hurt him to learn to man the center spot, but I don't think that's where his strengths really lie.
