Bosh plays both ends of the court and Dirk only plays one end of the court. Dirk is an aging vet while Bosh is just entering his prime years. Give me Bosh.

But for those that think Dirk opting out is just a formality so he can sign for more years with the Mavs think again. Donnie Nelson is flying to Germany so he can be at Dirks home when the clock strikes midnight. If this was nothing but a formality then there would be no need for Little Whistle to be flying to Germany.

I don't think Dirk is cheap like a prostitute. Don't think we have the money to sign him.

Dirk is the single least likely FA to join the Rockets - Cuban would have to agree to trade his franchise player to Morey. There's simply no way.

We should sign John Stockton, Karl Malone, Derek Fisher and Scottie Pippen too!

I don't think Dirk would leave money on the table. Plus, I think he's accepted being a loser. He doesn't seem to get as angry when he gets booted out of the playoffs. I think his spirit has been crushed.

LOL what have you been smoking? I guess Bosh also rebounds the most amount in the league, right? ;)

As far as dirk's D is concerned he isn't as bad as most people think. His main issue is that he was playing in the west in the golden era of PFs, when you had Duncan, KG, Gasol and Stoudemire (pre-injury) all playing at the same time. Anybody would look defenseless against that kind of competition. Couple that with his Euro skillset, and his tendency to get shut out by physical SFs then you have people calling him Irk Nowitzki, which is definitely not the case.

On offense, Dirk is like the Kevin Martin of Pfs. He's one of the best shooters in NBA history, and he flops like a fish out of water so he always gets to the line. More importantly, his skillset isn't as dependent on his knees as people like DH or Stat, so he can play for a long time even though he's already 30. I'd definitely take him over Bosh. Did I mention he's also a beast healthwise?

I never understood the fascination with saying "oh noes he was a maverick NEVARRRRR".......

Honestly if the Rockets could get Dirk I would be ecstatic. I don't think it will happen though

    He let Nash go.

I'm sure Dallas would take a good package for Dirk.

Still, I can't help but think Dirk might be the white T-Mac. The 7-foot, German T-Mac.

Neither wins in the playoffs. The only difference is that Dirk looks like he's really involved.

He just opted out of his final year. He is now a free agent.
