Williams is a real talent. But I think the Nets are just flaunting the Johnson thing out there in an effort to intimate the Wolves to give them a pick to trade up to 3.
CP3 Forget CB4, Why not CP3? He is open to a trade, New Orleans needs to cut costs and has a very capable replacement in Collison. Chris Paul would be fantastic in Houston and the Rockets have alot to offer the Hornets. If you've got a shot to get a top 10 player, probably top 5, and arguably the best point in the league, you go for it. I didn't any related threads, so lock if it's been discussed.
CP3 wont be availble imo, and im pretty sure NO said they will not trade him and cp3 said he will only want to be traded if they are not trying to contend
How is that? Just because he's been injured one year doesn't mean he's injury prone like Yao and will be out for a long stretch every single year. I'd honestly like to get him over Bosh, he can provide the playmaking on the perimeter we need and reminds me a lot of Isiah Thomas (the player) with how passionate and how much he just wants to win. Can we make a website for this Chris too now?
Go for it. Brooks, Ariza, or Battier the number 14, the worst of the Knicks picks. Cash. Get this done asap. Imagine Yao and Scola and Martin with Chris Paul running the show. Once we get Chris Paul, just wait for the aging bargain priced stars to fall all over themselves trying to come along for the championship ride.
I imagine Morey would offer up everything but the kitchen sink to get Paul on board. The only question is whether New Orleans would accept. We've definitely got the assets. My guess is they'd want picks, expirings, Brooks, Hill, and cash.
He's the best point guard in league. IF the Hornets actually trade him, I don't see how there's any way the Rockets would be able to put together the most attractive package.
The surgery CP3 had (removal of part of the meniscus) has been shown to decrease the career span of players. It's a quick-fix surgery aimed at reducing the amount of recovery time needed, so it's become very popular. Unfortunately, that missing cartilage is pretty important to cushioning the knee during all the wear and tear that a player puts on it. Guys who live off of their hops and quickness are especially vulnerable. In a couple of years, it's likely that AB will be a better NBA point guard than an injury-hobbled Paul. I wouldn't be shocked to see him having microfracture surgery a few years down the road to try to rebuild that cartilage. Buyer beware!
