ARRGGHH...I didn't bother watching this game because it was late and had to get up early this morning. East coast people want to watch these games too!
I remember having this argument about miller in 2001 during the francis is god era. Miller has always been a very good basketball player on every team. Teams have underrated him as a player. When he led the league in assist with wesley person, he was overrated. When Jim paxson gave him away for darius miles because his contract was up, he said people aren't paying to see him. When denver traded him for iverson vs adding finishers, they made a mistake. When philly thought holiday or lou williams could take his place, they were wrong. I guarantee if he ever had finishers like nash had, he would lead the nba in assist and the team would win. I blasted mcmillan for his use of miller coming off the bench for a scrub like blake. Miller is in thew category of derek harper,rod strickland, and even sam cassell. Guys will never be appreciated for what they do because of other playing at the same time.
You know what crazy is even with the injuries, they match up very well with the suns. Aldridge can play amare if he wants. miller can dog nash. Batum can guard hill and what else do the suns have. Camby still cleans the glass and between bayless,webster,and rudy is enough to cancel out richardson.
nobody on that team can get their own shot w/o nash assisting. Doug and Kevin pointed that out last night. Aldridge played Amare pretty darn good and Andre Miller showed us what we already knew - Nash does not play defense.
Yes, but when Ariza came here, he tried to change his game COMPLETELY. Instead of being a role player, scoring 8/9 pts a game, and grabbing 4-5 rebounds, he wanted to overexert himself, and try to score 20 every night on 12+ shots. If Lowry gets the starting job on another team, he might overexert himself, but he will just keep doing what he has been doing, which is being a bull in a china shop all game.
I picked Suns in 5. But imagine if the Blazers manage to win this series, and goes on to face either the Mavs or the Spurs. Roy would come back then, and make things very interesting.
BUMP. It's almost time!!!! Suns are gonna be tight in this game (2) and Blazers are going to play loose as they have already captured home court. This is a MUST WIN for the Suns. There's no coming back from 0-2 and going into the Rose Garden. GO BLAZERS!!!!!
