I would bet my soul that it was a dirty play. I watched it about 10 times. I hope you find it. I'm not exaggerating in the least bit. 100% confidence. Ginobili isn't the only player in the league that does that kind of stuff but it was a 110% cheap shot from behind.
Dudley kind of reminds of a me a Raja Bell without the swagger. At least Kobe won't have to worry about a clothesline.
Hey, you do what you want to do. I missed the last game and I just want to see this play you're referring to. But what's ironic is that, while you're saying Manu's not the only player that does this kind of stuff, you're ready to burn hi at the stake for a "110% cheap shot" that I'm sure gets done on and by other players around the league as well. Again, just to satisfy my curiosity, I'd like to see the play.
He's going Rocky Balboa on the Spurs. The Basketball Gods have spoken. ....Man that sounded like Bill Simmons...
I looked on YouTube. I only see highlights from the game and skimmed through one and couldn't find the play.
When Duncan can't even make a gimmie layup after faking his man off his feet, you know the Spurs are in trouble
I'm sure other players do it as well. My willingness to burn was simply in terms of it being completely deliberate. It was on the extreme end of dirty plays. It's not something that happens very often at all. He heavily leaned into the elbow as well. There was actually nothing to gain by making any contact. Nash didn't see him coming and he was going out to the top of the key to get the ball. He went out of his way to elbow him and leaned in and he did it very hard. Nash wobbled at the knees and grabbed his back for several seconds after the play.
Richard Jefferson is awful. Thanks goodness Morey didn't trade for him last year, like so many wanted him to.
It's probably hard to tell from my recent posts but I actually like Ginobili and have many times said that I'd love to have him on the Rockets, including very recently before he signed that extension with the Spurs. He's a brilliant, well-rounded, hard-nosed player. That was still a very, very dirty and deliberate play, in my opinion..
That acquisition was overhyped in every sense of the word. They were better off keeping Kurt Thomas, Oberto, and Bruce Bowen's corpse.
LOL why are you still on that play? Get over it. You said it's a play that happens all the time. There's an actual game going on and you keep bringing up that play. Just get over it. Jesus.
