Using this logic, every time we play the Jazz we should expect a loss. :)

    Spurs in 7 here.

I expect a great series either way. Nash is awesome and the Suns are fun to watch. But the Spurs are representing Texas. Yeeehaw!!!

If Spurs win game 1 in Phoenix.................talk about a mental stranglehold !
Suns will be defeated mentally in Game1 , defeated physically in Game 5.

    GO SPURS!!!

Looking forward to this game tonight.. been waiting too long. I think the Spurs can steal this game in PHX. They need to take one of these two games to have a shot in this series IMO. Game 1 would be nice though.

You guys realize if the Suns do bounce the Spurs out, the Lakers will practically waltz into the finals.

Rockets fans should cheer against the Spurs. If the Spurs win a ring they will take away Rockets record as lowest seed to win.

I know the chances are slim this round but lets hope the Lakers will take them out.

    Pretty much.

It would be like one of those WWF Championship Tournaments at Wrestlemania, it would be like the Lakers are Hulk Hogan (as the favorite), while the Jazz and Suns are respectively, two guys; one named The Barbarian (Jazz) and Austin Aries (good modern indie wrestler and high flyer, no chance he'd win against Hogan in his prime).

The Spurs = Andre the Giant or Ric Flair
The Cavs = the Ultimate Warrior or Bret Hart, right before he was becoming a (IC/WWF) champion, the next big thing.
The Magic = The (young) Undertaker
    The Celtics = Randy Savage
The Heat = Kerry Von Erich
The Trailblazer = Rowdy Roddy Piper
The Thunder= Shawn Michaels in his Rocker days or a young Sting
The Mavs = Adorable Adrian Adonis or Pat Patterson, though nowhere as tough as those guys, hehe
The Hawks = British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith)
The Nuggets = Jake "The Snake" Roberts
The Bulls = The young Owen Hart
The Raptors = The Mountie (obviously)
The Bobcats = the Junkyard Dog
The Pistons = Harley Race (near the end of his career)
The Warriors = Koko B. Ware
The Hornets = a young Eddie Guerrero
The Timberwolves = Frank Haggins, a jobber
The Wizards = The Isotope Man (masked wrestler), pfft another jobber
The Clippers= The Gillberg version of the La...I mean Hulk Hogan
    The Nets = Bastion Booger
The Rockets = Ricky Steamboat, of course.

I really don't like the idea of starting George Hill over Parker against the Suns. Hill was a good matchup against Dallas, and he definitely needs to play minutes... but they really need Parker's speed in this series.

I feel that too. Spurs can give them a fight.. suns can't

Raja bell on Jim rome show said that if spurs win this series then lakers will go final, but if phx win this series then they will go to finals meaning they will beat lakers. He used to play for phoenix... probably biased

The Spurs won't be able to keep up with the Suns through the course of a 7-game series.

The Suns play "younger" than they really are. The Spurs play older at this point....I think there is more athleticism with the guys in Orange.

I think the Suns take this baby in 6.

OK, I take it back - that was the most pathetic call I've seen of the entire playoffs. Nash bumped, whistle blown, takes three full steps, throws it up, and continuation given. Wow, wow, wow.

Officiating gripes aside, the biggest difference thus far is the Spurs' relative ineptitude within three feet of the basket. Obviously, the Suns are more athletic and they're going to score. But the Spurs should be able, through ball reversals and screen and rolls, to get good looks near the basket. They're bigger and stronger. Unfortunately, Duncan and McDyess were both completely inept at finishing near the bucket. Duncan has to play offense at an elite level for them to have a chance.

Hibernating in the Texans/Astros forum. :) Patiently awaiting Yao's return... I didn't get as invested in wins/losses/analysis for the Rockets this year because so much is soon to change, certainly with Yao and hopefully with Bosh or someone else.

Back on subject, I'm liking what I've seen from SA since Parker came in. Got to attack the bucket against a Suns team without a defensive presence... there were just way too many jumpers in Q1.
