Goran Dragic: 26 points in 17 minutes. That's insane

These were all good points in the pre-Dragic era.

    Now, they are irrelevant.

The Lakers will try to send all 5 guys at Dragic but he will still get into the paint then proceed to pump fake them one by one, finishing with a layup.

On May 7, 2010, the game changed forever. We are in a new era of NBA basketball. The Dragic Era.

Nash is a great player. The Steve Nash effect is in full function even when he is on the bench.

damn...pretty much guarantees the lakers a trip to the finals.

No way the suns have a chance with the lakers. I just feel that the lakers play too great of a defence and also with lakers size and length inside, there will be far fewer fast break opportunities.

    False.

The Suns match up great with the Lakers this year. In the past, not so much.

Amare is a beast, Jason Richardson can score and play good D on Kobe, Nash is better than Sasha.

Don't forget about Channing bringing out Bynum beyond the paint.

I'm not saying the Lakers won't make the finals, but it won't be easy.

They do shoot a lot of 3s when they are prevented from making inside passes. Suns should and probably would try to copy the Thunder and send anyone Amundson to front Pau and Lopez (if available) to front Bynum. They tend to figure it out by Gm 5 or 6 in these series, however. OK was using it as their primary defensive ploy, not as an unpredictable trick, they had no fallback for when LA managed to sufficiently defeat it.

After watching the Spurs get pummelled by Dragic, I can't help but think that Dallas beats the Spurs if they play Roddy the whole series...

How so? His team had a chance to knock off a much better Spur team than this one until those suspensions happened.

You are right, offensively, the suns can match the lakers pretty well.

But its on the other end of the floor that is going to give the suns trouble. Amare going to have a tough time guarding Gasol, especially him working hard on the offensive end. Add in bynam and kobe, maybe artest. But the biggest problem for the suns is gonna be odom. No one on the suns have the size, strength, quickness to match up with odom.

I just don't feel that suns are defensively sound enough to win against the lakers in a 7 game series.

    Just let Artest shoot threes.
Play 5 on 4 defense and leave him open

Of if George Hill didn't go off. The more I think about, the more I can't see how the Spurs beat the Mavs.
