The Nash Effect is secondary only to The Dragic Effect.

I fully expect Pop to have the Spurs leave it all out on the floor in game 4. The problem is if Hill and Jefferson shoot like complete dogs again, the Spurs have little chance of winning. TD is no longer great and something isn't right with TP. Manu doesn't have it in him to score 40 points to overcome those deficiencies.

If the Suns come out businesslike in game 4, they will win unless the Spurs play over their heads. But Pop and pride are big motivators and I can see the Spurs winning Sunday to avoid the stigma of a sweep.

+1 for that.. I saw Tim Duncan defending Hill and Dragic all the time (in the 4th) as a direct result of those lame switches.. Blair was also caught defending Dragic..

Credit the Suns though. their offensive execution is just beautiful to watch.. helps when you have players like Frye and J-Rich who are great 3 point shooters..

Chuck Norris and Ron Artest simultaneously wet their pants in Dragic's presence.

    You're partly right.

Searches will include "Drgic, Draic, Drajic, Drugic," and the ever popular "Dragonic."

We need to start a Dragic thread, that borders on the ridiculousness of a Chuck Norris-esque thread!

It's amazing how all these players become great (or significantly better) shooters after playing with Nash for a season or two.

I'd love to see the Suns go all the way and shoot down by PG theory.

Where is that one poster who said Nash couldn't win in the Playoffs when they lost Game 1 of the Portland series?

I wish these polls were set to close at the start of series.

I wonder how many Suns in 4 votes will pop up in the next day or two or how many of the current votes occurred tonight.

I think Pop shouldn't have started Parker. Parker was 5/17, and Hill was 1/7. And, not just those two, other players (except Manu) were not used to this change either.

    Those are all irrelevant factors.

Dragic beast mode overrides everything else.

When a guy is in the zone, like Dragic was in the 4th quarter, there is nothing you can do.

Yeah, its just going to be a LAL - OKC scenario all over again. LAL just too tall for anyone in the West.

A buddy and I have been talking about this for awhile now. The spurs haven't had anyone to play in the post to relieve duncan in a long time. On top of that, they have lost enough defensively to the point they can't lock teams down anymore. They go get a somewhat younger version of kurt thomas in mcdyess and still continue to trot bonner out there. Teams know if they pull duncan away from the goal, they have no one to contest a shot. Playing the suns with a guy like frye makes it even worse.

It goes beyond height. Fesenko has height. Lakers have skilled height. The skilled height thing almost makes it crazily overlooked that Kobe is a severe mismatch for all the teams that are going to face the Lakers in the West this year. His knee is feeling better since the OKC round to boot, it's just beginning to appear that maybe his finger is not the cause of his shooting woes in the 2nd half of the season.

Phx HAS to steal one of the 1st two to have a crack in a hypothetical Lakers series. They've looked like Utah in Staples for the past few years.

Lakers are disciplined to beat fastbreak team.
They don't shoot a lot of 3, and they use inside-inside passes to break defense.

Kobe or Bynum forced double team on strong side and Odom/Gasol came over from weak side, you can pack all 5 guys in the paint and it wouldn't matter. They are just not long enough to interfere the pass.
