Mods, feel free to merge this thread with the one started by anc. :)

My personal pick? Spurs in 7.

    Nash / Parker
    Duncan / Stoudemire
    Ginobili / Richardson
    Jefferson / Hill

    X-Factor for Spurs: George Hill
    X-Factor for Suns: Dragic

I do believe the series will come down to the battle between the PGs of the two teams.

Spurs have had the suns number every time they play in the playoffs... this year shouldn't be any different

If you're a Phoenix fan you might want to consider walking into oncoming traffic. No seriously, the type of ownage San Antonio has over Phoenix is borderline epic. I expect this series to be no different.

I'm going with Spurs in five or six as well. These guys are really amazing. Who would have ever thought that Dallas wouldn't make it out of the first round? I picked Dallas to contend with the Fakers; I hope that the Spurs can knock the Fakers out. If you make me choose I'll go with Spurs in 6.

Spurs own Suns , except for that one year where Amare was suspended for coming off the bench to help Nash / Horry "incident" few years ago . I felt the Suns were the better team that year , maybe it was the 07 playoffs.

We'll see how they Spurs hold up. Duncan is wearing down, I don't know how many good games he has. On the other hand Ginobili's nose might get better and he'll probably play better than he did vs. Dallas, Parker should be better too.

If Amare plays out of his mind, the Suns might have a chance, otherwise the Spurs will take the series in 6.

Wait just a minute lil fella.... THIS is a different Suns team than those from a few years ago that would lose to the spurs. Its also a different (older) spurs team. I'm not ready to just say it will be same ol same ol between these two teams.

IF the suns settle for all jump shots, they will lose the series. Having Amare in the paint and richardson will get them points in the paint and FTs. Unlike the Mavs who just settled for jumpers and had nobody in the paint to score. Nash is a better scorer than Kidd is as well, he wont just be a set shooter. I think the Suns will win this series, they look a lot more focused than I have ever seen them in the past.

Uh huh, right. I'm sure the Spurs are shaking in their boots (no pun intended) at the thought of hearing that same rehearsed "THIS is a different Suns team" crap that they've heard (and dominated) for so many years.
