What can the expiring contracts of Dampier and Butler plus a young player yield? J.Johnson or something more?

I don't like the thuggets either. But yeah, I pick the thuggets over Jazz on any day. But it's still fun to see Denver fail after all this championship talk.

I wanna see Lakers, Mavs and thuggets all fail. Arrogant bastards.

A 7 foot man of Dirk's caliber has no business grabbing only 5 boards in a elimination playoff game!

Dude is and always will be a soft Euro trash jump shooting pansy!

It's amazing that with his supposed work ethic, he still hasn't learned a consistent post move. It seems like he is allergic to the paint!

Cuban trades Boubueas (whatever his name is), the partally garenteed Dampier contract, 2 straight future first round picks and filler for

Bosh AND the albatross Turkoglue contract :(

    Dirk 5 rebs
    PG Kidd 8 rbs
    PG Hill 6 rebs

When your 25+pt 7 fter gets out rebounded by midget point guards, it doesn't matter how many points he scores. He shouldn't be letting 2 midgets take rebounds from him. You can't win a championship that way.

Right. This isnt something new. This has been the story of Dirk's career so far and it really is a recurring theme.

Dallas sports very talented teams each year and comes up short. Cuban will go back to his drawing board with a blank check and try to load this team up with even more talent.

Dirk has had plenty of help in his career. That is not an excuse.

The sad part is Mav fans think it's the other people not producing.
Down the stretch, you can't have have your superstar only takes 18 foot fadeaway and hope for fouls. The problem w/ the Mavs is Dirk. But I hope Mavs will never figure it out.

Bosh doesn't agree and laughs at Toronto management and threatens to sign outright to New York.

Morey, unlike Cuban, will be at Bosh's doorstep at 12:01 a.m on July 1st and recruit him to Houston. Bosh looks at tape of Houston and our franchise and agrees to come here as he is promised the role of top dog.

Also it helps that Toronto is interested in Jordan Hill.

Let me make it clear, BOSH IS NOT GOING TO DALLAS!

I believe it is against league rules to trade 2 straight future first round picks

... I dont' believe in that philosophy. He's human, a superstar, but a human, he gets tired, he suffers great defenses, different settings, and needs more help during the games (then he would face the end fresher). This is the playoffs, where Joe Johnson struggles, Brandon Roy, Pierce, Howard, Duncan, Durant, and even Yao or Kobe sometimes. Dirk is an incredible player, you don't need gods to lead a team, and if you need them, consider if you have to your team (roster or game quality).

Knicks did it, I think. If not He'll just trade for more picks.

He's going to be hard after Bosh

    We can beat that easily.

The two Knick picks we have are potentially the top 5 picks.

Morey is freaking immortal by the day now. Milking so many trade assets in one deal. Freaking genius. It was all planned.

Come on man, I'm trying to add a little spice to the debate.

It's a long summer and someone needs to stir the pot ;)

It's illegal to trade to consecutive first round picks, if it leaves a team with no 1st round pick in those years. Dallas could buy a 2010 1st draft pick from LA or Cleveland for $3 mil, then trade the 2010 and 2011 pick.

So what's the solution to not having any solutions. ANOTHER jumpshooting center! Good job Dallas!
Yeah, it would suck if they got him as it mean they wouldn't, but Dallas still wouldn't be a threat, as they still wouldn't have any posting up centers at all. And I think even Cuban would balk at keeping all the expensive players he has and now having to pay for Bosh and Turkoglu.
