Do the mavs trade away Rod B this off-season for his perceived short-comings in this game?

For the record, Manu never lost in the 1st round.

Dirk got his numbers and that's what people will mention in the future, but once again, it was very deceptive.

In all three games in San Antonio, with the game on the line, when the Mavs went to him, he came empty.

When your star player is a 7 footer who fades against shorter players, he sets himself up for tough low % shots. He could have fouled out half the Spurs lineup if he developed a post game.

Instead he was being bullied by McDyess and Bogans.

dude jazz are going to 2nd round and they play lakers in 2nd round for sure, so it will be lakers vs spurs in the conference finals, with the lakers winning in 5 and going to the nba finals

I think we have more assets to trade than Dallas (in terms of young talent & picks). Unlike Bosh specifically demands to go to Dallas I don't see it happening.

The Spurs were healthy, for the first time in how long? When everyone's healthy the Spurs are as tough as any team in the league.

So... what's Dallas going to do now? The 2005-2006 All Stars approach didn't exactly work out. Wonder who they will go after?

I am thinking Joe Johnson. Somehow he just seems to make sense as a Mav.

i think the dallas mavericks are cursed with all their recent bad luck and previous playoff failures, they may never ever win an nba championship they have being in existence since 1980 its now 30 years and counting

He wasnt good when the games were on the line. Watch the last 5 minutes of each of the games in San Antonio.

To me he is an incredible second option on a contending team. Not my choice for 1st option.

1st options put their stamp on games when it is on the line.

Yep you are thinking ahead. It would actually be better for the Mavs to go further. I'm sure Cuban is going to go crazy and acquire whoever he can now.

We were the lowest seed to ever win the championship. We were the 6th seed.
