I havent been watching the 2nd half to be honest, I just thought was funny that you were convinced the mavs were going to win halfway through the 2nd quarter.
Marion has been pretty good this game. Someone please explain to me why Carlisle elected to sit him on bench during this stretch?
I hope the SPURS win this game, I would love to see the new and revamped Mavericks lose in the first round. HA HA HA. Mark Cuban is gonna shoot himself. God i hate that guy.
No. Read what I wrote again. It said "If someone on Spurs does not start scoring, Mavs do not need Terry in this game." How does that imply Mavs are going to win this game?
I really do think it comes down to the fact that the San Antonio organization creates an atmosphere in which players can excel and excuses aren't tolerated. That's why I respect them. Dallas, on the other hand, creates a culture of excuses and silly crap like Cuban spouting his mouth off- "I hate the Spurs," it starts with the owner and goes all the way down to the team. If not for injuries, the Spurs might have won even more titles, while Dallas would benefit from a better coach, a better owner, and continuity in its core players (they need to keep Nowitski, Butler, and 1-2 others together for a couple of years, then maybe they can succeed). As much as he's a flopper, he's still a great player, and Dirk deserves better than that excuse-generating franchise in "Big D."
y'all remember all the playoff games we played where hakeem didn't have a field goal 90% of the way through and we still won? yeah, neither do i. collins keeps mentioning duncan always making a field goal in every playoff game like that's some great streak. i could see if it was double figures, but one field goal? i would hope the star of the team has never been shut out from the field.
To this day, Rockets and Spurs are not convinced that Terry can make the 3 pointers from the corners when he is left wide open.
i just saw i only had 2 posts in that thread and couldn't believe it. not sure where i've been. i'm actually torn on that series. going to UT, i really wanna see durant do well, but i want the lakers to win (ESPECIALLY if the spurs are going to win this series, the lakers are the only team i see stopping them in the west) so i can't even really say it's a sore subject, just a confusing subject. i'll try to post more.
Mavs are a bunch of overpaid flashy players. All style, no substance. Spurs are showing them what the playoffs are all about.
