He got his arms locked up with Blair on a rebound so he threw an elbow/shove at Blair in frustration.

Does a thrown elbow have to make contact with the player to warrant a suspension? Dirk barely missed Blair with that elbow but it was definitely directed towards him.

Wow. Spurs win the 3rd 19-11. I thought the Mavs were going to steal this one at halftime.

I hope Mark Cuban brought his medication. Talk about an emotional roller coaster. He was taking the red pills in the first half to keep him from running on the court to trash talk the Spurs. Now he's taking the blue pills to keep him from busting out his George Hill bobblehead and voodoo needles on national TV.

No. If there was intent to hit with the elbow that alone warrants a suspension. Considering Manu's nose and Landry's teeth, I would think the league might take a harsher look at Dirk.

holy crap! love the physical play in this game so far. i grew up watching the rockets, knicks, jazz, suns and bulls of 90s and love me a physical no holds barred playoff game.

any day better then a foul and whine infested kobe game.

can't cheer for the spers, but god damn i hate the mavs.

It's official. Mark Cuban really did put a cash bounty on Ginobili.

This is PLAYOFF basketball . . . two teams going at it.

I think Cuban did put a bounty on Ginobili.

Go to hell Najera. It's cool to see Pop rise up in anger and almost charge the court like that.

Najera should get more than one game off for that. What's sad is the Mavs won't miss him.

Uh, no. That wasn't a flagrant.
And I will root for LA against Dallas now if it comes to that scenario.
