I think the Mavs could be in trouble if they don't bring their "A" game, which has been gone for a long time.
the ignorance in this forum is ridiculous .. @ all the ppl who voted spurs.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? does anyone watch the nba anymore?? do anyone know the personnel matchups? MAVS IN 4... maybe 5.
Umm....Got Hyperbole? The question is: do YOU watch the NBA? Do YOU know the personnel matchups? Do you really think the Mavs are that much better than the Spurs? Wow, a whole 4 games better in the regular season, Ginobilli and Parker are back for the playoffs, DeJuan just put a 20/20 on them, and you think the Mavs will sweep? ARE YOU FREAKING JOKING??? Sorry, but I refuse to put anything past the Spurs until Duncan, Ginobilli, and Parker are no longer with that team or truly horrible. I definitely think the Spurs have a chance- and they're my pick to win it.

HAHAHAHAHA.... you know what? I would be surprised if the Spurs score above 95 points in ANY of the games played in the first round.
you do realize this is a rockets website right? rooting for the mavs in a rockets forum is just not right. im forever biased when it comes to the mavs and jazz.
Maybe people are just pulling for the Spurs... Did you ever think of that? Speak english much? Sure don't type like it....
Why so mad? Sure, the Mavs could win win it in 4 or 5 but that's pretty unlikely. Not counting the last game, which was meaningless because the Spurs rested Duncan, Ginobili and Parker, both teams have an identical 14-6 record over their last 20 games. Even if you take a look at the matchups at each position, as you suggest, I'm not sure how this leads you to the conclusion the Mavs will sweep the Spurs. So altogether it's very reasonable to expect a close series. Instead of questioning if nobody "watches the nba anymore" why don't you explain to us WHY you think the Mavs are gonna sweep the Spurs...
