they need more scoring badly. their defense is pretty good but they lack the offensive firepower to match up with the upper echelon teams. On a side note, the greatest part of this series is watching Jordan on the bench. His death stares are enough to kill someone lol. Even at that age, he is still a competitor.
How can Charlotte struggle to keep up with Orlando without Dwight??? How they got the 7th seed is definitely on Larry Brown.
Good, consistent play by Barnes and Pietrus for most of the series. No need to over-emphasize their intangibles because they provided tangible production as well.
Not bad for me. I thought Capt. Jack would steal one. They had a chance in each game but lack of offense killed the Bobcats.
Magic's Howard fined for comments made on blog By Official Release Posted Apr 28 2010 6:20PM NEW YORK, April 28, 2010 -- Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard has been fined $35,000 for public criticism of the officiating that appeared on his personal blog, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations. Howard's comments appeared on his blog on April 27.
Orlando has amazing depth at relatively every position, this series just highlighted it. Gortat substituted adequately for Howard and this foul trouble might have been the situation Otis Smith was forseeing when signing Gortat to that ridiculous contract.
