If only Yao could have Dwights durability, defense and rebounding...combine that with Yao's offensive skills and you have a beast.

You could say that about a lot of players.

Hakeem's playoff blocked shots record might be in jeopardy.

That player would be the greatest of all time without question. He would be Kareem Abdul-Jabbar except even better.

Of course, you can flip it around and wonder why Howard can't develop decent post moves and can't shoot FT's to go with his positive attributes.

if shaq had yao's free thow making ability, he'd be the greatest player in the history of the nba.

Howard was lucky to not pick up his 6th foul there.

Wallace deserves the DPOY more than Howard.

These refs.... have been so terrible. Howard should have fouled out. This is so ****ing stupid. Without Howard, the Magic have no real interior shot blocker... tells you how much the NBA is rigged. That foul was so blatant, he got hit in the head.

Stan Van Gundy spreads a vibe of anxiety to everybody around him. It even makes its way through the TV into my home.

    He's the anti-Phil Jackson... the anti-Rick Adelman.

His bro has a similar quality but it's not at the same level.

They both have this sort of cyncial, end of the world attitude to boot.

Every team should have this mentality in the playoffs.

Yea, but maybe the coaches should provide a sense of calm and confidence at the same time.

You want a sense of urgency... not panic.

    Especially from your leader.
