Am I the only one thinking that if Yao tried half of those blocks Dwight did, he would have had 4 fouls by now?
The Dwight haters on this board are rolling in their graves right now. The guy with about 20 different screen names is on suicide watch right now.
Dwight's playing well, but he's clearly getting the ref treatment. Two of those blocks easily could have been fouls, and one was a blatant goaltend. That still means 4 blocks, which is impressive, but I guess I'm annoyed with hwo the Magic are being treated, given that I dislike the Magic now since I HATE Vince.
Forgot to mention this earlier but it's funny that the refs are so quick to tech up Stephen Jackson for clapping his hands after not getting a foul call but they let Kobe and Bron jump up and down,clap, and swing their arms.
Why do a lot of people here hate the Magic ? Just curious ........ They seem to play bball such a fun way with one sick center and rain 3's all day n night
I seriously dislike that style of play, which is why I've never been a fan. I didn't really care until they got Vince, whom is probably my least favorite non-Jazz player in the league aside from his cousin. Now they annoy me badly.
Everybody has their own fav style of play for sure. I guess i like Magic's cuz at the local gyms we seem to play very close to that. Doesnt matter how much you try , people seem to have 1 low post player with 4 wings . I might have also thought the reason why some people dislike Magic cuz of the whole Yao/ Howard debate .
Irrelevant. It's a style of play that can win and I acknowledge it. Not that that's it remotely the same level, but if we traded for Deron tomorrow and won a championship with him, I'm sure no one would begrudge us for winning a title even if he was on the team. It's the same thing. I don't like that style of play, and if other teams use it, it annoys me. But I'm not going to begrudge ourselves a championship due to it.

Not expressing an opinion either way, but Dwight has 2 points and 5 rebounds at the half. Just because he has 8 blocks doesn't mean he has a perfect game and has shut up his haters for all eternity.
