I would honestly just get Bynum his surgery now and take my chances with the Suns... especially if Odom is going to be productive like he was in this first half.

even when kobe does that, shane stills gets a hand in the face, still doesn't bother kobe

kobe's jumper these days are mostly from muscle memory and shooting millions of jumpers repetitively, he doesn't need to see a clear view of the rim to make the shot these days

Counting on Odom to be this good on a consistent basis? I suspect Phil shall pass.

I really don't think they need Bynum in this series... they'll have others step up, whether it's Odom and another player or Odom by himself or whoever. If it's as bad as they're reporting it and the Lakers advance, Bynum is going to be needed against Orlando or Boston and there's no way he's going to be as effective with that injury.

Grant Hill has been robbed in this game multiple times.

It's such a sham when NBA officials and their defenders talk as if playing "nice" and respectful will get you the benefit of the doubt with officials. Sadly, the only thing officials respond to are those that whine and are on them 24/7. The Grant Hill-types that keep their mouths closed just get taken advantage of.

These refs sure don't like Grant Hill. Quite a sham.

Did anyone not see a Suns technical coming (to "even" things out) the second Kobe was whistled for one? Could see it coming a mile away.

Wow! Refs must absolutely hate Grant Hill.

    Just wow.

Was that tech from him waving his hand down? 2nd worst tech besides Duncan's laugh tech.

If the Suns win this series, we know for certain it won't be a result of their defense and preferential treatment from refs.

That call made on Grant Hill is the one of the reasons why people do not take the NBA seriously.

These are sadly the ones that are predictable by now. There are certain players and teams - Kobe and the Lakers definitely at the top of the list - who officials just always give a benefit of the doubt to. And if those guys are ever whistled for something controversial - technical, offensive foul, block, etc. - officials have a way of trying to "even" it out by calling the identical violation on the other end on the first chance they get. It's like clockwork.

Different from the spurs, the lakers are able to outscore the suns.

I understand that Gasol is extremly skilled and talented. Do the announcers have to orgasm every time he does something. It's getting really annoying.
