Would they have had the same chance to get Rose if that deal went down at the time? I can't recall the exact timeline of events.

I'm still not sure that they would've been a championship-caliber team either way.

Say what you want about Antoine Walker being a dumb, millions squandering broke ass. At least he'd go down and shimmy wiith the team, to the crowd or himself instead of some antagonistic coach tapping BS.

I wonder if Kobe woulda done that against Jerry Sloan the last series?

Paying attention to Fisher making all kind of clutch shots, or Artest and Gasol getting game winning buckets, or bigs getting tons of offensive boards, etc?

Hey I know we all hate kobe on here, but you have to admire his ability on the court.

Damn, there were about 4-5 shots he made today in the second half, that I don't feel anyone else on the planet is capable of doing. It just really showed how great a player he is.

After the long fadeaway he made in front of the Suns bench on hill, turning around to give the Suns coach a tap made me LOL.

I don't get how you can support a team full of A-holes like the Lakers? Every person on that roster is a tool. I'll give Ron a pass, but the rest of the team...are you kidding me?

I even like the Knicks roster more.

    Great year for Phoenix overall.

Artest waiting for Kobe then gently put his hand on his back as he follows him to the showers.

The member with the 10 year old voice asks what's the problem with slurping Kobe's nads?

Doug Collins was simultaneous choking with bible and trying to keep his boner down as he watched he watched Kobe hit shot after amazing shot to beat his favored Phoenix Suns.

    No one deny Kobe's talent.
But is his action like this make him an a$$hole who everyone hates. He cries for respect yet he respects no one!

    Artest, instead, follows Steve Nash.

Artest: "I'll breach my contract for you, Mr. Nashty. ;)"

LeBron maybe good. . but he is not Kobe yet!

    Artest had a GREAT Game.
    He came prepared tonite.
When he is focused. . he can still be a beast for moments.

    Artest affected this game alot.
    This series.
he played solid [if not spectacular] defense
He was rebounding and boxing out.
hate the man all you want but . . .he definately ADDs to this team
