You really want to argue ticky-tack tidbits?

The team you were rooting for won today. No need to win every single thing.

Kobe shot 3 FT (1 tech) and refs are favoring Kobe. Favor my ass. It's pathetic if you didn't watch the game, you didn't even check boxscore, just take granted Kobe was favored.

They had 3 good looks from the 3 point line that possession and maybe 2 more on the possession before that. One of them is bound to go in.

They've been like that from the beginning of their franchise. Don't see any reason why that is going to ever change for them. Just the way the dice got rolled when they became an organization, the city, etc. Some teams are born unlucky, others like the Lakers are born lucky.

It sucks, but what can you do except watch them win games they don't deserve to win time and time again?

It's not trying to win anything. I'm just trying to see how everyone's forgetting the fact that J-Rich also got lucky on the play before.

Maybe, but I'd argue the Lakers had already lucked out with Frye, Nash and Richardson - all 40% plus three-point shooters - bricking four consecutive looks, three of them wide open, to tie the game in the final 2.5 minutes. The Suns were far, far overdue for that.

Damn, that is the same exact spot. Pretty ironic if you ask me.

Just goes to show you that no matter how much you hate the other guy, you still will try to ride his coattails in desperation.

Crappy loss for the Suns but I am with Kenny on this, The Suns played crappy and almost pulled this out on the road they should feel good about this one. I fully expect game 7 for the West title in LA and another close game.

Ok.. Ron Artest boxed out and hit a wide open lay up. I don't see what's so lucky about that.

Kobe should get ejected from every game for all of the screaming and histrionics he does towards the refs. Look how quickly they call techs on other guys for even looking at the ref funny... an yet Kobe can yell at them all day long. And he doesn't get FTs because he jacks up jumpers for 90% of his offense. Are your really this dense?

Seriously though. I think I've listened to a lifetime's worth of talk about FT attempts and disparities from this series. C'mon now.

I guess we watched the game from different cams. I saw the Lakers getting away with so many fouls.

Come on, Kobe shot an airball that landed right in Ron's hands with just enough time to win the game. That is lucky no matter how you slice it.

Nobody is arguing the fact that Artest's layup was lucky. The argument is they got lucky because Jason Richardson brain sharted all over and forgot how to box out giving him a wide open layup.

    That is some irony.

Like I described last year, Ron charades that series was like a cheerleader girl trying to get the attention of the popular jock crowd. Sure he did his routines within the squad. But he'd step out and do those couple extra cartwheels and flips when the one dreamboat was around. If it wasnt an outright audition, he was trying to work in a reference to move his application to the top of the pile.

But the Rockets got their best success in years out of it, so whatever. Good for all involved.

Did you even watch the game? Kobe settled for well contested mid-range shots rather than driving to the basket. Of course he isn't going to get a lot of FT's.

He'd fellate Kobe in a second if given the opportunity... I don't think he's exactly objective.

The problem is that you're not remembering that that's the way it goes in pro sports unless it's a Bill Buckner type of lapse.

You think they show highlights of Jordan's game winning misses? Nope. That's why they don't resonate.
