Nope. The refs swallowed the whistle after Kobe picked 2 quick fouls. He has at least 2 more in the second quarter, would've definitely changed the game.

I noted a few: Sasha slapped Barbosa's hands on the hustle play and wasn't called, Kobe had another away from the ball foul in the fourth where he pushed Dudley, Stoudemire was fouled at least twice down low by Gasol, a few no calls when Nash got slapped on the wrist.

Obviously, there were also calls going the Suns way, but overall the refs bailed the Lakers out tonight.

Shut the ****ing up. Lakers had 3 more fouls and 6 less FT in this home game.

Pathetic Suns had 20+ FT in home game and you still blame refs?

Missed FTs and offensive goaltending by Odom. Lost points.

My thoughts exactly. Hate the LAKERS. Had they won fair and square, I would respect them. Sometimes it seems like Stern is actually Kobe's dad.

LOL, I think it proves there just might be... and they are from LA.

In all seriousness, I don't even know how to describe it. The combined breaks the Lakers have gotten the past two postseasons... I really think the odds would be better for me to win at Powerball. It's just incredible. I've never seen anything like it before in all my years watching sports.

Amazing how things change... here's Artest and Kobe hugging and celebrating tonight after a buzzer beater on the exact same spot on the exact same floor where they fought one year ago.

Don't forget the most obvious offensive interference in history. No point arguing with delusional Faker fans / former MJ/Bulls fans though... they'll be rooting for the next flavor of the month before the debate is even over.

Yep, give them HCA by giving Suns 6 more FT. I hope Suns will have that kind of HCA next game too.

Again with the boxscore watching. Since you can't get the game in your communist country, let's just say that FTs aren't always even because some teams actually go to the hoop while others stand around jacking up shots and verbal flopping. My god you are an idiot.

    Unreal game.

No matter who you root for, that turned out to be a great nailbiter at the end. Although I wonder what would happen had the Suns won; the media would be ALL OVER Artest for that crazy 3.

Let's hope this goes to 7, but my brain says this propels the Lakers to the finals.

Ron Artest's lay up was lucky, yet J-Rich's BANKED 3 wasn't?

If they had an PYMLTPITF Award (Player You'd Most Like To Punch In The Face), Vujacic would win it going away every season... even after he retires.

    Agreed with you.

LA matching up with the Thunder = paradise for Gasol / Bynum.

LA matching up with the Jazz (without Okur for the entire series, and AK for the first two games) = easy as well.

LA matching up with the Suns might have been a matchup nightmare, but like Cat said, lucky, lucky, lucky.

There should have been a bigger disparity had the game been called accurately.

They won fair and square, hell I'd argue the officiating slightly favored Phoenix tonight. The luck was ridiculous, but it is a part of the game. I'm just in awe of how unlikely all these events are that have happened over and over again the past two postseasons.

Equally lucky, but you have to admit that the Lakers don't ever seem to be on the other end of the stick. When will someone hit a BS buzzer beater on them?
