Yeah, people only remember the ones he made, and don't remember how many he missed.

    Sarcasm?

The ending to this game was anything but predictable and lame.

Can't believe J-Rich made that shot.

Can't believe Artest is the hero of LA.

That was a pure Suns heartbreaker. Ouch.

That Ron-Kobe hug was one of the gayest celebrations I've ever seen. I think Ron forgot about the cameras and was just enjoying the opportunity to hump Kobe. All they needed was Vujacic in there to complete the gayest image in sports history.

Because Phil Jackson is good coach, and has luck on his side.

You mean the refs are helping the lakers every step of the way. Stern wants the lakers to get another ring. NBA is so fixed it makes me sick to see kobe the rapist get another ring thanks to stern.

You are right, but to his credit plays like that are possible because everyone is watching him and not boxing out (2nd time this postseason).

    Artest "Say Queensbridge".

Forgive him. His mind was on getting into the locker room to continue his bromance with Kobe.

I think he's talking about the Celtics/Lakers being in the finals for the last 2 years.

Which I agree, is getting very lame.

It's mind boggling just how lucky LA is. It's unreal. I'll give credit where credit's due. I didn't like the Lakers of the early part of the decade, but they were a truly dominant and great team. The Lakers of the past two years... ridiculous. The one team that was built to truly challenge them - last season's Rockets - loses Yao after Game 3, and still takes them to seven and embarrasses them twice in the process. Later on, the Magic miss an uncontested layup to win a Finals game, in LA. Oh, and I forgot - just two games later, all Orlando has to do to win a game is foul the Lakers in the final seconds... and they go brain dead.

Fast forward to this year... they're pushed almost to the brink by an eight-seed Oklahoma City team with almost no big men, no three-point shooting and zero experience. Kobe epic fails in the final second... except Collison/Ibaka go brain dead and forget to box out the guy directly the basket.

Now, they're playing a Phoenix team they should push around with ease, blow an 18-point lead at home and are on the verge of one of the great collapses in NBA history, Kobe epic fails again... and yet again, another pro team goes brain dead and makes a mistake a high school team wouldn't make, forgetting to box out the player directly at the basket where the ball is going.

You could watch the Rockets or whoever your team is for 100 years and not see them get the combined breaks the Lakers have gotten in the past 13 months. It's unbelievable. And when you're a fan of a team like the Rockets where even the best of plans seems to find an incredibly unlikely way to go wrong... jealous doesn't even begin to describe it. Hate them so much.

    ROFL

so not only are you a Kobe nut-hugger and moestavern's b!tch, but you also smoke stuff that make you say funny things.

lay off the pipe man. The refs were overlooking shoves and pushes by that f@g Gasol the whole game. He got away with murder. NASH let the Suns back in the game, because Nash is the best impact-player in the NBA. Yes, I said i, Steve Nash has more positive effect on his team than any other player in the NBA has on his. I love his game.

Suns should take game 6, and then hopefully they can snatch game 7 and go on to win the 'chip.

So J-Rich went from potential hero to goat in a matter of seconds. He was the guy who failed to box out Artest.

Again, credit to Artest for coming all the way from the weakside there but as a defender, you have to be aware and put a body on him.

Artest's strength pays off for the Lakers there. A bit of luck helped out too. Kobe missed so badly, it ended up helping the cause.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Except with the Lakers--they're lucky all the time.

Lakers have had two lucky ass putbacks this postseason. Why are they so lucky? Haven't the Lakers won enough already?
