kobe is having one of his best stretches of shooting ever. from the utah series until now, he hasn't been off even a bit. and now he's got 9 3's in 2 games.
David Stern telling the refs through their headsets, "Ok guys, we've milked this series as much as we can, time to make sure our moneymakers make it to the finals."
y'all realize kobe was in foul trouble 2 minutes into the game and the lakers were in the penalty 4 minutes into the game, right? even this game has people thinking they're favoring the lakers?
The stretch of no-calls that led up to Alvin Gentry made it pretty obvious something was going on with the officiating. I heard him say something along of the lines, "Just call it both ways!" to one of the officials.
yes, it was obvious something was going on when the lakers seemed to be getting calls. gentry did not seem nearly as peeved about uneven officiating in the first 4 minutes of the game when the suns seemed to get every call and built a lead. kind of like this board apparently missed the beginning of the game but now has david stern on the phones when the lakers go on a run. there have been 50/50 calls going both ways. people don't even wait for actual uneven games any more before bringing out the conspiracy talk.
