No one here said Eddie House was better than Nate.. Eddie is a better fit in Boston.. Your Magazine is in the mail it should arrive shortly.
I'm not saying top 5 of the 90's, but take the 2010 Bynum and the 2010 Gasol, and put them in any single year, like 1991 or 1996 or whatever, and I'd be hard pressed to find 5 C-PF duos that are definitively better. I'll look more into this when the game is over. Great point about the toughness factor...though, I think they just let everyone get away with more post fouling back then, so Bynum and Gasol would be allowed to shove back too.
Ron just fit in better with Houston, in LA it's like he's not sure what to do. Granted though he is playing really good this game.
He would fit in perfect if he just stuck to playing defense and shooting open 3's, occasionally driving it in.
90-91 Hakeem/Thorpe - Hell, I really don't care who you pair with Dream. I would take him solo over Bynum/Gasol. Robinson/Cummings - See my comments on Hakeem. Laimbeer/Rodman Daughtery/Nance Ewing/Oakley Eaton/Malone Duckworth/Williams - I think Buck Williams would eat Gasol alive...just my opinion. I found seven easy and stopped looking. Don't be fooled by what you see these guys doing against OKC, who starts small Green at PF, or Utah whose two bigs are both under 6-10. They will catch a small team in Phoenix as well. When you watch them play against Boston, Orlando or Cleveland they don't look nearly as dominant.
As much as I detest the Jazz, I want them to make the Lakers bleed for this series - very much like the Rockets did last year.
If your deron williams you have to find something better than wes matthews you can tell matthews wanted no part of that shot
