Are you talking about the no chance for the rest of the series because this game has been over for a long time now.
I mean game, but series might as well be implied. Wade needs to go '05-'06 mode for the Heat to even think about tying up this series, much less win it.
heat only have 48 points nearing the end of the 3rd they could have a franchise low in points scored in a playoff game; they already accomplished the feat for a half
That season Wade was hurt. So with Wade they are not in the cellar. And like the guy you quoted said without him they are.
Aside from Wade, the best players on that team are: Beasley, who has most certainly not even come close to the potential / hype. O'Neal, Haslem and Richardson, who are decent players, but aging. If this Miami team was matched up with the Nets, they might actually have a hard time beating them. I feel so bad for Dwayne. Players of his caliber don't deserve to be on losing team, but I guess that is the hand he was dealt.
Hmm, from worst team to #5 seed. Definitely not a cellar team. But Wade has 26 points right now, and Miami has 59 as a team. Assuming Wade was not there, Miami would have 33 points right. At the end of the third freakin' quarter.
Dam!!! did miami think today was a preseason game, they tought they were playing the clippers tonight!!!! LOL
www.jazzfans.com , you should check it out.. does this game get the Celtics back to winning basketball or are the Heat just that bad..
Pathetic effort from the Heat -- well, except for you-know-who. If I'm him I'm getting the hell out of there this summer.
though wade has the nice stats, it's so "weird" that he starts turning it on (stat padding?) when the game is WAY out of reach. he could have forced the issue way earlier. it wasn't like they doubled him like crazy.
at least he didn't stop playing. Saw him run back on defense, a put back slam. he easily could have just swung the ball around everytime it came to him. I am sure he can always get the nice stats when he wants. Perhaps, he wanted to get his teammates involved early on, similar to how lebron kind of does it.
