Maybe he's just trying to set an example. Show all those pathetic flakes like Beasley, JO and company that even if the game is out of reach you still go all out. That or maybe he is just stat-padding. In any event, it sickens me to watch a player this good wasting away his prime because of his inept front office.
Told you, guy has no support in miami, Beasley is average and a 4th quarter no show. Who else is there, qrich? pargo? O'Neal?
I think Rose and Wade need the ball in their hands too much to get the most out of them and there probabaly isn't enough ball to go around. Wade is not really someone that plays off the dribble too much, so I would guess that it wouldn't work out as much as it looks on paper. Would be interesting to see how it would play out though.
Yup and it's do-or-die time for Riles. He hasn't done anything right since "retiring" and taking over as team president. If I'm Wade, my confidence is severely shaken. But who knows, maybe Riles can make a few key acquisitions, retain Wade and then magically come out of "retirement" to coach again.
I said it, the Miami Heat lost their chance to win this series in Game 1. This series belongs to the Celtics now.
The best thing that could've happened to the Celtics this postseason was that Garnett suspension. It gave those old fogies something to light a fire under their asses. It seems like this team is channeling that 2008 defense in this series. The Celtics D in the 2nd and 4th quarters has been ridiculous. The Heat are averaging 12.5 points in the 2nd and 14 points in the 4th.
hmm but who would play the 2? no brainer you start wade over martin but martin of the bench? He's not a 3 So it would look like Lowry Wade Ariza Scola Yao 6th man Martin??? Dont like the whole martin coming off the bench
