Magics are obviously a contending team. They are really good. Hawks are not this bad though. Their best player is just been horrible. They are a decent team... They are just not bad enough to get beaten like this in playoffs at home.

They don't play as team. Just 7 assists in whole freaking game. They don't believe in teamwork. On top of that, they play like tired bunch.

Anyways, Magic deserves a lot of credit. They are playing hard in the playoffs. Everybody is stepping up. They are coming in to every game with killing mentality.

Atlanta is a good team but they lack any kind of post presence. They are a jump shooting team and thrive almost exclusively in transition.

Josh Smith played(s) anything like a second all-defensive team player.

This series has been disappointing but so has basically the whole 2nd round of the playoffs.

They aren't going to win anything with JJ shooting like he is so far. 12/42 for the series, Magic can really shut em down.

I didn't watch one second of this game. I knew the Magic were a nightmare for the Hawks but just WOW! Was JJ as gutless as the box score shows? Did Matt Barnes lock him down? I feel dumb thinking the Magic would have a letdown and drop game 3. Props to them (I guess) for coming out focused and delivering the blow. Or was it more the Hawks had no interest at all whatsoever?

Woody is gone. JJ will leave and get less money than he would have gotten without disappearing this series. The Hawks will finally have the sense to let go of Marvin Williams and will hopefully sign a legit PG.

But IMO, the Hawks may have missed their window by not getting a real PG these last 3 years. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they are worse next season and don't win 50 games.

I stopped watching a little after the second quarter started. Atlanta came out with no sense of urgency or anything. JJ couldn't make a shot to save his life and he had plenty of open looks. Josh Smith was out there settling for jumpers even when he had someone smaller guarding him. Overall they just did not come to play at all today. They desperately needed a PG to get the offense going. JJ may have gotten them to the playoffs but he certainly won't take them any further.

I have a feeling Hawks management will call up few Falcons, Braves , Thrashers players to be in the starting lineup .

    Falcons :

    Tony Gonzalez
    Matt Ryan
    Micheal Turner
    Roddy White
    Dunta Robinson

Fellas let us keep the loss under 29 pts / each game. :)

Everyone knew they had no chance against the Magic.

    1) Hawks had to go 7 games against the Bucks. A Bucks team without Redd and Bogut

    2) Magic got an insane amount of rest.

    3) The H-2-H matchup between the two teams is/was extremely lopsided.

This is so pathetic and embarrassing. Everybody on that team, especially JJ, is completely gutless. Orlando is very good but they're not "sweep you out of the playoffs, good". It's plain and simple: Orlando is way better and after testing the Magic and being unable to steal Game 2, the Hawks simply threw the towel in. Shameful.
