Horrible night. No new LOST. My DVR fails to record V because the local tv station had it saying To be Announced on the channel which threw off my DVR....bah.

hmm. well, it's only the half. the lakers will get cold eventually. the thunder have to keep trying to chip away at the lead. they can't get discouraged by the refs. i'm really surprised that Brooks hasn't prepared them for the lopsided calls. esp. since he played for Houston before.

EDIT: crap. nm. looks like KD and Westbrook are having bad games as well.
well, hopefully they can bounce back next game.

Other than Ibaka, OKC has no front court players.

Don't know why people keep complaining about the refs, a team can NOT play well you know right? I mean, the Thunder practically lived off the free throw line the last 2 games.

I understand a lot of people here don't like the Lakers but sometimes it's more than just the refs. Besides, the Thunder still have their chances.

game was over a long time ago at the half, the lakers built a 20 point lead and never looked backed!!! thunder now must look to game 6 and try to recreate the scenario that happened in game 4 try and run the lakers out the building; cannot wait to see game 6; should be the best game of this series, lakers will try to put the thunder away while the thunder will look fight to see another day

Yes, they lived off the line because there were aggressive for GM 3 and 4.

However, OKC was JUST as aggressive this game, but they got no calls.

Although Bynum and Gasol played well this game, you can't say the refs didn't have a hand in this game.

who cares if the refs did not call the game well or not, i am sick of people complaining everytime about the officials when their team loses a playoff game; the officials are humans they cannot see everything that goes on during a live game they call what they see and they do not call what they cannot see, period; stop blaming the refs for your team's loss; just suck it up and accept defeat and look forward to the next game and make some key adjustments here and there

When you get beat down like OKC is getting beat down tonight then yeah it's more than just the refs.

You could give that "aggressive" line to any team in the league. I don't like the Lakers but I hate it when people have a double standard in regards to the refs. You'd only be happy if OKC was getting all the calls and the Lakers weren't getting any.

I didn't want to start a new thread or read the rest of this one, but can anyone correct me--
Didn't Sefolosha play some PG when he was with Chicago?

This series is just like the Lakers Rox series last year. Durant is Artest and Westbrook is Brooks.

i have faith that this can go 7 games. the 7th game is what worries me. Maybe I'm putting too much faith in Scotty Brooks to impose his will into the players. I think they should let Kobe take as many shots as he wants. usually that's when the lakers are playing their worst.

If that were the case, the Rockets would've easily won that series last year.

It's funny how that works out sometimes, but they played poorly. While, the Lakers simply played better (who I have to say did not play the greatest either).

I think the Lakers are going to exposed, even more if they play any teams, oustide of Utah and Phoenix.

Lakers played with an energy that they didn't even play with in Games 1 and 2. They beat OKC at their own type of game, trying to get out in transition and collapsing defense in the paint

IMO, if Phil had put Kobe on Westbrook at the beginning of the series, it would be a sweep.

Kobe just shut down Westbrook and his passing lane to Durant. Artest actually showed some balls and Bynum and Gasol finally woke up.

Guys, I think this was game 7 of the Rockets series last year.

Bless the poor souls who meet them in the 2nd round. I'm praying its the Nuggets, but I don't think they are in it mentally.

Kobe just needs to get Gasol and Bynum involved more and they will win the Championship, Book it!

This MIGHT work on the Magic, but not on the Cavs.

    LeBron vs Kobe
    Shaq / Z vs Bynum / Gasol
    Jamison vs Odom

Cavs / Lakers will be good, if it ever fabricates.

Refs actually dictate the series. If they are gonna call the ticky tacky fouls, Thunders with so many penetrations will have advantage, on the other hand, if refs just let them play physical, the bigger team always have an advantage.

Lakers actually shot less FT in first 2 games, and this game by 4. In the two game in OKC, Thunders shot 17 and 18 more FT.

Rather than saying which team is more aggressive. It's more of how refs allow aggressiveness.
