Any team that beats the Lakers is a friend of mine. The Thunder are a young, dynamic team that I love to watch. They have been close in every game, and were dominate in the last one. The next game will decide the series.
I just realized something that's astonishing about the Thunder. The Thunder bench consists of 4 main guys. Harden, Ibaka, Collison, and Maynor. 3 of those 4 guys are rookies. And the Thunder play all 3 rookies at the same time on the floor, and they are successful.
It's similar to our bench. We obviously have a better bench... but they have a similar bench to the Rockets.
yeah I think Kobe was trying to show that he was valuable by going to sleep and letting the Lakers lose. However, he didn't prove a thing in my view because he just showed that the Lakers can't win if they are playing 4 on 5. He was being criticized for being a ball hog and not passing it inside to the big men. But in Game 4 he not only didn't take shots but he didn't create many scoring opportunities for others. His problem in Game 4 was not that he was a ball hog but that he was not aggressive. He pouted like a little ***** and phoned that **** in. And to me, that does not prove **** about his value as a team member. However, it certainly says something about his character or lack of it for that matter. The fact is that Kobe is a ****ing ball hog and takes a lot of bad shots and he should pass it to guys like Gasol and others when they have good scoring opportunities. However, he makes up his mind before-hand that he is going to shoot and it's hard to alter his decision. It was good advice for him to pass it more on the inside to the big men because there is a mismatch between the Thunder and the Lakers and he should exploit it. The Lakers would win easier if he followed that advice. But no, Kobe wants to be the hero all the time and take the other teams on one-on-one, even if his team loses. It's no wonder he was criticized by Shaq and that Gasol is pissed at him now. Kobe needs to think more about winning and not filling up his stat sheet.
yeah you're right ASidd. My bad. But if he read my entire post he would've known I wasn't referring to game 4 specifically in that last line. I watched that game so I know what happened. He wasn't telling me anything that I didn't already know. It just seemed like he was trying to take me out of context by nitpicking semantic errors. Anyway, I saw the game and saw Kobe make a pretty good attempt to get it inside, but he mostly went to sleep because he was trying to prove a point and tell Phil Jackson that it's his way or the highway.
And you seriously believe this stuff. Seen any black helicopters lately? I can't stand Bryant, but this is getting rediculous.
haha Perhaps that is as extreme as you suggest to think that Kobe would not give his full effort just to persuade Phil Jackson. But did you see game 4? It seems to me that it's either what I said or that he simply wasn't capable of producing because of the wear and tear on his body. The latter may very well be what was actually going on. But he was not aggressive at all in game 4.
Ha, you mean no more Stern favoritism? I actually saw Joey Crawford calling things in favor of the Thunder, I thought I was in the twilight zone.
Wow this is the first Ive seen of you and you really suck.. Lakers and Jazz fan? Seriously bro do you like the Mavs too? You say you are a Rockets fan well start acting like one. This guy is an obvious troll and you know what we say to trolls.. GTFO
PTI guys on ESPN were discussing that Lakers will go to line more than oklahoma city because of officiating. I hope OKC wins, but i think lakers are going to take care of this game.
This is a forum. We aren't speaking face to face, nor can I tell your tone. Get over yourself, and try not to triple post next time.
