That's because nobody else is making shots either. It wasn't just Kobe hitting shots in the first quarter of game 3. It's also the Thunder playing better defense and offense. The most efficient way for the Lakers to score is for them to go to Bynum and Gasol. Kobe's been in a slump for a while now... due to his injuries or whatever.... if you watched any of the Lakers games without Kobe earlier in the season, the Lakers offense blossomed.

Kobe has obviously been modest so far, but no way he lets his team lose in the 1st round to OKC. This game though....it's looking ugly so far for LA.

Who the f cares? No one besides us cares about it, and watching the Lakers lose in the first round as 1 seed would be glorious.

Good analogy except Harden has a higher upside because he's a playmaker, more of a combo guard than Salmons.

Wait till you see some of Harden's slick passing.

I want the Lakers to lose because i hate them. I don't care for petty preservation of what we almost did last year.

    No I don't think so.
They didn't take the Rockets serious.

It was true.... I mean if you want more evidence. Look at the disparity between Games 4 and 5 and then between Games 6 and 7.... they didn't come to play in games 4 and 6 and got their asses handed to them... sense of urgency in games 5 and 7.

    No I deal in reality.
It was a nice story...just like the 22game win streak. LOVELY story, but in the grand scheme of things was not going to mean much.

I think Scott Brooks is going to have to make a decision on Green. I believe his insistence on playing him the entire 4th quarter cost the Thunder game 2. At least he figured it out in game 3. If it weren't for Green ineptness, the Thunder would be up 20 right now. Green shouldn't play more than 20 mins today if he doesn't get it going.

I think the James Harden and John Salmons comment is more because they look alike. Same droopy eyes and sporting similar beards.

I think Ibaka should start over Green.

Ibaka keeps looking more and more like Dennis Rodman 2.0
