He had his typical hot shooting 3rd quarter last game. The first few minutes of the 3rd quarter is usually his best time of the game. It's clear today Krstic doesn't have it. Need to put in Collison. Am I the only person who thinks the single-minded dedication of the Lakers to pound it inside ruins their offensive chemistry? But I guess as long as Pau delivers.
If they keep doing that and Kobe doesn't get his usual amount of shots, the Lakers are not gonna win.
This crowd reminds me of the Warriors crowd in that playoff series against the Mavs. They are incredible. I am beginning to wonder if Kobe is sending a message to Phil that just dumping the ball inside does not mean that the Lakers will be better? I am thinking he will become much more aggressive in second half. Lakers need an aggressive kobe that puts a lot of pressure on defense.
lakers have got to get bynum and gasol going seriously this was supposed to be a 4-1 series win but the more this game 4 goes i am starting to hbelieve the thunder matchup very well against the lakers with durant to counter kobe, westbrook to counter artest/fisher, and serge ibaka/green to counter bynum/gasol. still lakers in 6
Has anyone noticed Gerald McCoy sitting courtside? He has a red hoodie on next to the Thunder bench. Cool Story ?
Do you know something I don't? Because the Lakers offense has been mediocre when Kobe shoots and when they don't pass to their big men. They have an advantage.. a huge advantage inside... that's what the Lakers need to do. They also need Lamar Odom to get going... he's an invisible man out there.
If PJ has to start measuring Kobe's minutes and it's only the 4th game of the first round series, that doesn't bode well for the Lakers repeating as champions. And for Kobe to leave in the 1st quarter without taking a shot is kind of scary if you are a Lakers fan. I want the Thunder to win but I also want Kobe out there.
Chris Bosh needs to seriously consider signing with the Thunder. He can play the 4 and Ibaka can play the 5.
Any one else feel like if the Lakers don't beat the Thunder in less than 7 games it will cheapen what we accomplished last season? I dislike the Lakers intensely and enjoy watching the Thunder play but I kinda want the Lakers to win to preserve our tiny 2000s playoff history...
