They showed up and won the series in 7. We were severely underhand. They can't expect the same from OKC. If they don't show up soon, it's over for them.
no doubt kd will be a top 5 player for years to come, but for kenny to say he'll be the best player in 3 years is quite a reach in my opinion. lebron at durant's age was much better than durant right now. but yes, you can't go wrong with either. but like u said, with durant, you better get a pretty damn good PG. you can put scrubs around lebron and he'll take you pretty far. lebron is a generational player.
I really dont understand why so many of you guys are rooting for OKC. The more wins they get, the more experience they get leading to more confidence. Next year we will be competing with OKC for a playoff spot. As long as the Lakers have Kobe they will be there no matter what. I would like OKC to have the lease playoff experience and success just due to the fact that it would benefit the Rockets.
if you think OKC is going to fall off the map after this season and will continue to struggle fighting for the last spot in the playoffs, you are mistaken. OKC is beginning its climb to the upper echelon of the NBA right now, and they're going to enjoy being at the top for years to come.
to me, the Super Sonics are gone. It's not the same since it's not Seattle. Oklahoma City is not a city people hate, it's a city people never really cared about. Also it's a small market (smallest in the nba?), so you kinda want them to do well. Having Ex-Rocket and Rudy T disciple Scotty Brooks and Longhorn Kevin Durant is also a plus for me. Also this is david vs goliath scenario, nobody wants goliath to win.
i want the best team to win, and that's the lakers in this series. i watch the best matchups in every round since the rockets aren't playing.
how insulting, how dare you! actually i am a 34 year old man, i want lakers to win so we can have a lakers and potential cavs finals, where lebron meets kobe, that would decide the ongoing, neverending debate, as to who is the better player? LBJ or kobe
I dislike the franchise for its move. I can't root for the Thunder after what they did to the city of Seattle.
For everyone's viewing pleasure. I've lost count of how many times I've watched this. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fWPj_Pvr6nY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fWPj_Pvr6nY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Let's not forget about this sequence... <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jMvYnOKNyIE&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jMvYnOKNyIE&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
