Oh I agree 100%. Like I said earlier this matchup was the best matchup for Artest if he was going to match up against a superstar or star.
That call down the stretch really ticked me off too. It might have even been on Westbrook and not KD. I was looking closely at KD to see where the foul was but didn't see anything worthy of a whistle. Anyway, great effort by the Thunder. I didn't like the decision to go for three when only down by two but I guess if he made that shot I might be singing a different tune. That said, I have the Thunder winning Game 3 with Game 4 being another down-to-the-wire battle much like this one. P.S. GET WESTBROOK INVOLVED MORE! Nobody out there can guard him.
Nah, this is playoff basketball, some contact is okay Durant needs to be more patient on the offensive end, his lack of experience made a huge difference
You could tell with some of the shots that OKC was taking that they need to be more patient with their shot selection, and maybe make the extra pass to get a little more open. It seemed like they were content taking the shot after one pass, and getting around the screen. But this is the playoffs, and when you're not hitting your shots, you need to try and find a way to score easy buckets. That being said, I was incredibly impressed by their defense. 17 blocks is absolutely ridiculous.
Is Kobe not that tight with his dad? I know his pops is a grown ass man with his own ****e to take care of..... in another country nonetheless but they were saying this was JB's first time in 5 years watching Kobe play. It's not like he was locked up or something.
I think you completely missed the point. The offensive foul on KD when it was 90-88 was a pathetic call. Maybe a game-changer. For those of you saying KD should be more patient, when his teammates shoot a collective 17/48 with many of those shots wide-open, he has no choice but to chuck a few extra he normally wouldn't take. For the second game in-a-row, both Jeff Green and Thabo Sefolosha were like two flat tires on offense. It's hard to win a race that way but they almost did it tonight. If the Thunder can pull out games 3 & 4, I'll be satisfied if they go down in 6.
I 'm not so sure Kobe is tight with anybody in a non-professional sense. It doesn't seem like he's wired that way.
I won't digress here fully, but Kobe's relationship with his family was severed when he married his wife. It was a few years before they reconciled.
Haha! Me and my brother were just talking about how Kobe reminds us of that one guy at the office who over achieves at every thing and sucks up to his boss, but when he goes home, he is lonely and cuts himself at night.
Yeah, Kobe's family, especially his dad, didn't want him to marry outside of his race. They also believed that she was a gold digger, who like many NBA wives, was only after his moulah. I think she used to be some video chick or back up dancer to some mexican rappers from Southeast LA.
It seems PJ's strategy is making an effect. Durant hasn't been given any superstar call. However, I think Durant did show his inexperience during the crunch time. He is the person who has got pride. Maybe he wants to get respect from people, and don't want people to call him a flopper or moron. In additon, coach Brooks should step up to speak for Durant. I remember JVG and Adelamn spoke for Yao.
