i think this game just sealed the series, they needed game 1 or 2 now the pressure is on them, for a young team, it is gonna be tough
I wish Durant would have adjusted to the situation before he shot the 3. That made have been the play Brooks drew up but with the Artest on him pretty good, wish he had adapted and tried to drive in and get a call or something. I suppose he's just not ready. I don't fully expect him to be just yet.
Sometimes he's really bad. At his best, he will hit open jumpers, attack the rim and finish well, his length helps on defense, etc. He hit some very clutch shots late in the season near the end of games. But he's in full choke mode now. Watching him on the offensive end is very painful right now. He finished the regular season on an offensive flurry but the pressure of the playoffs has gotten to him in the worst way.
It actually wasn't that bad. Durant is capable of hitting that shot. The Lakers were very physical with Durant and he wasn't getting many calls tonight so I guess Brooks felt that was their best chance.
only his second playoff game, and I already saw quite a bit of improvement from game 1 looks promising
I'm pretty disappointed but OKC battled hard in both games. I think they had to get one of these first 2 in LA. They need to win 4 out of 5 now. That's a tall task for a very young team.
Why da hell did Thabo come in with 2 mins left in the game? He shoulda been on Kobe for longer than that. Also, Artesticles is really getting away with alot of pushing and shoving on Durant. Hope Durant lights his ass up in OKC.
Thunder should've at least tied or won this game. The Lakers gave them many chances at the end with all their missed free throws... Jeff Green for the final shot? I hope they take Game 3 and Game 4 and make this a series again. GO THUNDER!
i thought the officiating was terrible tonight, not that they favored any team in particular, but this is playoff basketball, there were too many non-calls
He wasn't getting calls because he's such a softie. I've never seen anyone get to the line as much as Kevin Martin and Durant do not being that aggressive. You don't get those little petty fouls in the playoffs... the whistles are swallowed. We did the same thing with Kobe last year and he wasn't getting calls either, but Kobe adjusted. You have to take it inside and force the action.
