So alot of fans from both sides have been complaining about zebras !! It has def been a factor in this series so far, I think they've hurt Celtics alot more than Lakers. I mean in Game 3, all the big calls were in favor of the Lakers, all the flops, and offensive fouls that Fisher and Gasol always try to bait refs into went their way. At the same time, Kobe was taken out of Game 2 with some bogus stuff too, so who do y'all feel is getting shafted more?
no one is getting shfted. From what I see, the refs are doing a good job. But then, I am not a fan of eithor team. Bill Worrel always says that id both teams are complaining, then the refs are doing a good job
Pau's defense really needs to improve. It wasn't like KG was making tough fallaways over him. This old beaten up guy repeatedly backed him down for little hook shots or took him off the dribble for crafty layups and floaters. This is really where it has always hurt him...his ability to play quality 1 on 1 defense
I was wondering if he was going to get a Pass cause man . . he made Lamar Odom's Lapses look like Larry Bird! Rocket River
Rockets to give HARD FOULS . .they take them sincerely, Carl Landry [when he was a Rocket] Rocket River
They like the three old hags in Clash of the Titans only one of them can have the Shooting Eye at one time Rocket River
sure you could say that Ron's defense was unreal in that OKC series. He spent so much energy on defense he had little to nothing to give on offense. He shot 34% from the field and 18% from 3 point land.
I think Pierce will bounce back next game. Like any smart team should, the Celtics have made a strong effort to get whoever had foul trouble in a game to get them going in the next game Ray Allen foul trouble 1st game, 2nd game they went to him a lot and he produced KG foul trouble 2nd game, 3rd game they kept going to him inside. Pierce is struggling now and he played limited minutes in foul trouble so they're gonna run a lot of set plays to get him involved and get him going
Pierce Predicts Celtics Will Bounce Back Celtics captain Paul Pierce was disappointed after the team's Game 3 loss to the Lakers, but predicts that Boston will bounce back in the NBA Finals. "I'm disappointed, I'm disappointed in the loss," Pierce said. "That's what happens —- it happens. That's what happens, we lost the game, we've got to go back to LA." Pierce said following his team's Game 2 win that the Finals wouldn't make it back to Los Angeles. Now, the Celtics need to get back to Staples Center in order to win the title. "I'm not going to win a game in LA and say we're coming back," Pierce said. "I mean, no, that means I'm saying we're going to lose at home. I mean, I'm confident in my ballclub, so if I do say that type of stuff it's all in good spirit. I want to win, just like they want to win. We've got to go back to LA, just got to do it the hard way, not a problem." http://www.boston.com/sports/basket.../06/09/pierce_predicts_team_will_bounce_back/
Rondo really needs to pick it up. He should be attacking the rim every time down. Granted, fisher has been playing waay off hime. I know Rondo isnt a great shooter, but when you're at the top of the key and your man is playing 5 feet off of you...take the shot.
Pierce's mouth has done more work in this series than his game. Artest has made him useless through 3 games
Pierce could still be correct! Lakers will probably win the next 2 games and finish the series in Boston! Pierce and his Celtics may need no to go back the Staples Center after all.
