Sure it was. Gasol did the same thing in the previous game shoving Perkins(w/o the flop) iirc and no call. Ehh it is what it is.
i had the lakers in 6 and after this game it looks like it's going to be that way. pp34 is not going to get it going. garnett played outstanding but it not sure he can sustain it. wtf happened to ray allen...good lord game gave the c's hope but i think this game chopped them back down.
cavs had a 2-1 lead too. i wouldn't count out the celtics. kobe is not going to have a great series b/c the celts can defend him. it's up to pau gasol to win this series. today dfish won but that's a fluke. ray allen is terrible. how the hell do you suck that bad? really? really?
simmons said he's moving him above hakeem, shaq, and duncan if he wins this year, which is ridiculous. actually, he already has him above hakeem and shaq apparently (he has them #10 and #11) and would move him over duncan (#7) if kobe gets the 5th ring. the fact that duncan is over hakeem and shaq is ridiculous as well (but that's a discussion for another day), but kobe really shouldn't be over any of them.
This game is no biggie as long as Boston wins games 4 and 5. Boston was not goin to win 3 straight anyway. Ray Allen with a jeckyl and Hyde performance. Damn.
Of course, his incredible first half overshadowed the complete choke job he pulled down the stretch in the second half. Yes, he still played a good game overall. But my problem with Ray is that mentally, he's as soft as they come in pressure situations, and it's a tragedy he has a championship ring because he landed on a team as stacked as that 2008 group.
how do you not respect fisher for this game that he played today? pretty awesome, even if he plays dirty at other times..
Lakers are so lucky. Allen playing like crap. Pierce couldn't get into rhythm because of fouls. Garnett and Rondo not being enough to overcome them. Half of the big 4 were complete crap, and the Lakers win by 7. The Celtics, through three games, just cannot establish a consistency, when it comes to scoring. GM1: Pierce was decent, Allen and Garnett, not so much. GM2: Allen was remarkable, Garnett and Pierce, not so much. GM3: Garnett was remarkable, Allen and Pierce, not so much. All three need to show up for game 4. Seriously.
I'm rooting for one player. That's really about it. But if there was such a rule about something like that, I wouldn't really give a ****.
i'm fairly sure he wasn't trying to have the worst game of all time. but i am glad he didn't get off the schneid on a free layup. history needs to know how bad this was and see the crazy back to back boxscores.
