except calling him a scrub is still ridiculous. while he's getting older now, he was playing all-nba level D and hitting his 3's. that's more than most role players contribute. fisher overall is nothing special but he is well above average (if not exceptional) when it comes to hitting big shots for a role player.
Kobe has missed some ugly shots, but he makes the big ones. Just don't guard Ron and double anybody else. A Ron three is needed right now.
kobe has rarely played well v. the celts' D in recent years. this is not something surprising. i don't expect him to play great the rest of the series.
Scrub is a bit harsh, but he does nothing on the road and role players stepping usually win games on the road.
yeah, keep showing the last part of the play where he didnt hit his arm. cuz it didnt happen before that.
No, when Kobe gets into "******* it, I am Michael on god mode and will single-handedly win this game" mode, this happens as often as him actually winning the game by himself.
those plays are ALWAYS out on the defense. always. they are often technically off of the offensive player's hand but it's just an unwritten rule to call it out on the D. instant replay may start changing these calls (like just now) in crucial moments.
