yea it's partly his fault that he didn't demand the ball. but when you have a teammate who was shooting 7-9 for 23 points through 3 quarters, you know he's FREAKIN' ON FIRE.

you feed him the ball regardless if he's demanding them or not. that's called being a smart player.

Kobe began the game feeding the bigs the ball. I believe he had 5 assists in the first quarter so its not like he didn't look for them. Kobe picked up his 4th midway through the 3rd...he played only 34 minutes tonight. Don't pin this on Kobe, come on now

yes thats why Artest fouled out, Odom (a dominant big being called in Clutchfans) picked up 5 fouls second game in a row and played only 15 minutes tonight and Kobe had 5 fouls and only played 34 minutes tonight. Yes the Lakers got the preferential treatment from the refereees

    GREAT GAME!

    1) ARTEST SUCKS... Ariza might not be gold, but for the next 4 years, who do you want at 5-6 million a year?? DUH, Go Morey, Go Ariza!

    2) KOBE - he is aging fast, he still has moments and halves, all you idiots who will argue his ppg, that doesn't mean anything, LOOK AT THE GAMES! He doesn't make all those miraculous shots, doesn't get all the calls anymore, and I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL if the Fakers don't win this year, that Kobe never wins another ring... I mean, the NBA can only gift wrap so many championships = Pau for NOTHING IN RETURN IN THE TRADE!!!!

    3) Rockets are in GREAT SHAPE for the next several years!!!

Don't really like em, but hate the Fakers so much = GO CELTICS!!!

You know what I love most? Watching Artest dribble the ball around like a chicken with its head cut off and not having to scream at him to pass the ball - it's really quite wonderful.

Not a single more stupider species in the world then ****ing faker fans. Saw the game at my parents house and on the drive home could not believe the calls on radio. EVERY SINGLE stupid **** faker fan complaining about the refs and most sounded like they were about to hyperventilate from swallowing the balls of that ****ing rapist.

**** THE FAKERS AND EVERY SINGLE FAN OF THEIRS!

Check out Fisher's stats in the last two playoffs: he was absolute hot garbage. But he hit two big shots against Orlando and everyone is on his nuts again. Nevermind that he gives up way more points than even an average defender (like Mo) would. His offense has been better this playoffs but his defense is still terrible.. being lit up by every PG that faces him (or Ray Allen who for some reason the Lakers decided to matchup with Fish, AS IF).

Boston traded #5 pick for Ray Allen.

Houston traded #7 pick for Shane Battier.

Uh a little more than that...

The Boston Celtics acquired guard Ray Allen from the Seattle Supersonics on Thursday night for Delonte West, Wally Szczerbiak and the rights to the 2007 NBA Draft's No. 5 overall pick -- Georgetown forward Jeff Green. Boston also gets the rights to the Sonics' 35th pick -- LSU's Glen Davis.

And our trading of the 7th pick cleared us of that anchor contract Stromile Swift, but I suspect you already knew that.

Bill Plaschke doesn't agree with you. He thinks the Lakers should sign Fisher over the summer and bring him back.

great game! too bad kenny smith's record was broken but if that's what it took to beat the lakers then so be it. hopefully, they can steal game 3. then perhaps the lakers might have a meltdown.

It did look like they started doubling him more towards the end though and it was proving effective. With Artest on the floor (let's be honest, his game 1 performance was an absolute fluke) I don't know why Boston isn't doubling up Gasol/Bynum more. It worked with Kobe in 2008.
