Different matchups this time around. 3 difference makers in Leon Powe, Eddie House, and James Posey aren't on the Celtics anymore. Artest is on the Lakers and Bynum, as useless as he has looked, is available for them.

I don't know why people actually thought the Lakers were going to win back in 2008, they were outmanned from the start. This time though, it looks about as equal as you can get. Will be interesting to watch.

We are going to witness the decadence of Kobe throughout this entire series.

Kobe is not the same player athletically and will get shut down.

He wont average over 25 ppg.

    Celtics in 5.

Yeah I meant play wise this year and last year, but of course KG was injured last year and some of this year.

We will see if Pau comes to play. If KG is able to win that battle I don't think the Lakers have a chance at winning this series.

Kobe will not be shutdown. If I had to bet I would bet that Kobe will average over 25 ppg too. The question is how efficient will he be?

I hate the players on the Celtics more than LA. There is something more Fake about the Boston players than LA.

I don't like either team, but I rather have the Lakers win this one.

I'm very surprised by the poll results so far where more than 60% thinks Celtics will win. I have the Laker's winning it in six, although I would like Celtics to win.
This is going to be a great final and I cannot wait for it to start.

This will supposedly fuel the Lakers to do well.

Even worse, you put PP on Kobe, Lakers can put Artest on RA to work him down low. He doesn't have to score many points that way. Just wear him down and grab some offensive rebounds. This is different from Radman anyone could guard in 08 finals.

What I think is going to happen is kobe is going to guard rondo and fisher on Ray. Fisher, with his superior upper body strength will be able to fight through screens better, and conserve some energy for kobe instead of running around chasing ray. Fisher has no chance will Rondo cuase of the speed that rondo possess, kobe will do a better job at it and it is much easier to D up on a spot up shooter than a penetrator like rondo (not saying Allen can't penetrate no more, but his shooting is what you are afraid of).

Only 32% says the Lakers will win?

Man, we have a very wishful thinking crowd here on Clutchfans.

    ^^^^^^

The Lakers will see a legit frontcourt for the 1st time. I will be watching to see exactly how much better Gasol has become.
