Agreed. The entire cast did step it up in the play offs but without the motivation of Kobe I am still not convinced this team can win many play off games without him being around somehow.

Yes, unfortunately this is not tennis.. it is a team game, and Lebron has never had a team even close to what Kobe has his whole career (outside of three years when he went lotto, 1st round, 1st round). Him taking the '07 Cavs to the Finals is one of the greatest accomplishments in the modern NBA era. That team had less talent than any team Kobe has ever played on.

hahahaha thats one of the funniest things I've ever read - Lebron didn't face an all star named Gilbert Arenas in teh 1st round vs the Wizards. HE was injured. Does that matter to you? No - He didn't face a 16/9 center named Nenad Kristic as he was injured as well. Does that matter to you? no - He didn't face Ben Wallace (who was on the Bulls) in a Pistons team that had already given up on their coach Flip Saunders. Lebron shoudn't be penalized for leading terrible teams to a lot of regular season wins. Let's see what happens if/when he leaves Cleveland. All of you Kobe nutriders will get a chance to see how much talent those teams had. Yes, that Cavs team had no business being in the Finals. Without Lebron, they would have won like 25 games. Kobe's team, meanwhile, wins at around 70% without him.

To be fair he feels challenged most of the time. And in the play offs you play alot of good competitors and he plays D. But as one might see he is aging. He can't do it for a long time, playing O and D.
